    Try these Adrian:

    http://www.emwelec.co.uk/emw.htm

They do reconditioned boards/pcb’s. I can’t price a new one for you as it’s a Euro model there’s no listing on the UK technical info disk.

    Hope this helps.

The basket runners come complete at £5.65 each inc VAT, not all that expensive really. Add £3.50 for postage as well.

I can order some for you if required, drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

Re: Error C2 on AEG OKO_Favorit dishwasher

C2 is a drain error so the syptoms you describe go along with this.

Have you checked the point at which the drain hose connects ? If it’s to the sink trap it may well be blocked there.

While pressing the two buttons at the same time, you have to turn the adjusting knob don’t you to set the time ?

If that doesn’t work, can you post the model (Enr???) please.

“rd” is related to the damper motor or it’s controls, there’s an error there essentially.

One for an engineer in all honesty, take a look at repairs@ and the directories for one in your area.

Does the oven appear to be working (Lights on, fan running) etc but just no heat ?

Belts rarely if ever come off for no reason unless the machine was seriously overloaded or there’s a contributary cause.

See how it goes over the next couple of washes, keep the loads down though to a reasonable level 😉

Re: Zanussi Frost Free Fridge/Freezer (fridge not cold)

It shouldn’t be a major problem to be honest, it sounds like a defrost problem to me.

Ice build up in the freezer compartment more than likely, either caused by the door being left open accidently or there’s a problem with one of the defrost components.

Try emptying the unit, switch off and leave the doors open for 24-48 hours to get rid of any excess ice, it will solve the problem either temporarily or permanently.

If it happens again, you’ll need an engineer to check for you, come back and let us know how you get on please 😀

If you are thinking of looking further yourself, pull the plug 1st ! :zap:

Shiner wrote:There was no sign of frost build up or whatever when I emptied the freezer.

To check this properly you need to remove the rear panel of the freezer compartment, plug removed from the socket :zap:

It sounds like one or both of the freezer thermistors may have failed, the usual cause of problems with these models, apart from the switch on the fridge door not operating, normally casued by the heavy 4 pint milk containers which is what Simon was getting to I think.
