It’s the Sankyo timer, same as originally fitted, I’m led to believe.

Something not right here, should only be the start light flashing.
Error code is from there. Other lights are programme indicators.

Learned a bit more now thanks Ally. Was passed to me as info for Samsung Side by Side Fridge Freezers. Now I can fire some info back at him 😛

    Re: Samsung RS20CCMS freezer frost

Might be of some interest, although it’s not exactly pertinent to this job. Info was passed to me by one of my workmates.

Fan problems on these appliances can be cured by cutting the drain below the actual fan motor larger. This is how samsung eventually cured this problem. All the other “cures” are now uneccesary. the original drain is about 10 mm wide this should be cut right acroos the whole of the recess to allow water to run away.
the origianal wire can be used on a new fan assy.
this is because it just clips into the fan motor.
the new assy is only req now if the original foam is blown (water ingress).

I must be lucky, haven’t had any of these machines to repair….. yet.

If there’s not enough flow of water it doesn’t get enough pulses so it aborts.

I dented the Porsche 😆 reversed into a very large concrete planter (2 foot high and about 6 foot diameter). 😳

Don’t remember the model numbers any more, is the “Dreamspace” machine?
If it is then I should have a manual for it somewhere.

Flow meter isn’t the OWI or WI, that’s the black plastic grill in the sump.
Flow meter is in the water matrix, reed switch and tiny circuit board. Bad connection is the most common problem.
Idea is it sends pulses to the pcb and the (O)WI registers when a set amount of water has entered. Pcb then determines how long to fill to get the correct amount of water in.
If the pulses aren’t received or are received too slowly then it aborts the programme.
    Hope that makes sense 😀

I’d like to know why the one I’ve got on the go takes 4 hours to go through a wash.
Are there error codes or diagnostics for them? Will they just go through the programme if there’s no heat?
Any info on these would be appreciated.

    Re: Bosch Washer Dryer Problem

Thanks for the email Greg, I’m sure the pages will be helpful.
There’s no blockage anywhere, have had all the hoses off and the pump out, condenser is spotless too.
The dryer isn’t overheating, I’ve had it running with the door open and airflow is good, no blockage in the heater chamber. The only thing I’m not sure about is the water coming in, it appears to pulse the valve, i.e. opens, closes, opens and does this while the drain pump runs. Drain pump runs for a short period and not constant. (Think this is how it should be).
I’ll check for the triac on the small board when I return to the machine on Monday.

Thanks for the suggestions and help.

Re: I ripped their floor vinyl.

When I worked for the Whirlpool agent we had “sledges” with the Aerial brand name on them. Basically it was a triangular shaped piece of plastic (folded in the middle for packing), Lift the front up, slide the sledge under until touching the back feet, then tilt machine forward slightly and push sledge under rear feet. Once the rear feet were on the sledge you lifted the front again and pulled the sledge using it’s handle, machine then slid out easily with no damage. Putting it back was just as easy.
With BG, we have a large piece of perspex that we lift the front onto, then drag the machine onto it. Not as good as the sledge but works ok.

Re: White Knight CL767c No heat

Open circuit exhaust stat would kill all heat.
If I remember correctly the high/low heat switch switches half the heater on and off so I’d suspect a wiring problem or a fault on one half of the heater.

Might be wrong but didn’t someone suggest replacing this band with a zanussi spring?
I do remember the silly pliers for removing/replacing these bands, was always a pain to get it back on.
