    Re: prima/whirlpool dishwasher no heat!

Ntc reading seems a bit high. Mind you, depends on the temperature.
    At 20 deg 58.1 kohm
    25 – 47.1
    30 – 38.2
    40 – 25.4
    50 – 17.2
    60 – 11.8
    70 – 8.3
    80 – 6
    85 – 4

Normally, if it completes the cycle with no errors it’s a software problem on the module. Changing the module would normally cure it. (Whirlpool engineer would rewrite software to module).
However, as you’ve already changed the module to no avail it really only leaves the NTC or wiring at fault.
To test the heater and wiring, disconnect at the module and test from there. You’ll test the wiring, TOC and heater in one.
Try running the diagnostic program and see if it throws up an error.

    Re: DeLonghi Range Cooker

Haven’t checked anything yet. Waiting for customer to get it out so I can work on it.
Beautiful installation. Cooker first, units hard up to it, then tiled floor right up to the front legs. No way I could get it out without damage so kitchen fitters coming back to sort things out.
I’ve got elements and stat to take with me though so hopefully I’ll be able to sort it out with them.
Thanks for the answer. Keep the ideas coming though.

    Thanks

Sorry, it would be pure guesswork to give an answer on that.
As parts are expensive for these machines I’d suggest getting an engineer in to diagnose. Would certainly be cheaper than guessing and throwing parts at it.

Yes. If you hold the infra red flap closed the light should be on solid.
With the beam broken (flap open) it flashes twice, pauses and repeats.
This shows it’s working ok, i.e. not detecting a fault.

If you’ve never had the boards replaced before then you’ll need both.
An email to the parts & help desk on the left of the page should get you the information on prices and availability.

    It’s not detecting any fault.
As your ice maker isn’t working it’s more than likely the rear board is faulty.
Due to the cost and the possibility of requiring both boards it may be prudent to get an engineer in for this.

Try unplugging the flow meter and plugging it back on.
Is there enough water flow from the inlet? Too slow and it aborts with a fill problem.

Access from the front. Bottom panel is held by two clips on the upper edge of the panel. Pop it open and lower it down. Heater is on the right.

Your service number indicates the later electronics are fitted to your machine.
It may be the front board at fault on your machine, however, I’ve just replaced the rear board on mine (again) for a flickering display and clicking relay.
4 years old and has had 4 ice makers, 3 damper valves, 3 rear pcb’s (flickering display and clicking relay), 2 sets of infra reds, 1 front pcb (CF error) and 1 ice dispenser motor.
As far as I am aware (nothing in the manual about it) there is no setting up to do after a board change, other than set the desired temperatures.

Having searched through various posts it appears that this is a smeg machine so I’ve got the error codes now thanks.

Would still appreciate some help though. Anyone know what the cable coming out of the inlet valve is for?

    Thanks

Or the light is still orange and not red. Can only be reset when led turns red.
