    Re: teknic dishwasher

In the Whirlpool error codes is the information on how to run it on diagnostics.
Takes a lot less time than a full wash.

Re: our diplomat ADP8332 isn’t ‘making’ hot water. Help!

As Penguin says, check the heater and wiring first.
Have had a few in the past where they would complete the cycle, no heat, no error code. Fault lay with the pcb / software.

Look at the door, has it moved over to the left slightly?
Used to take the hinge off, lay it curved side up and tap it with a hammer.
This was enough to centre the door again and it would then operate the interlock.

    Re: whirlpool dishwasher ADP 6940 WH 8542 940 15910 F6 error

The other thing to check / do is pull off the flowmeter plug at the flowmeter and plug it back on again. Dodgy connection brings up F6.
Most likely, as Dave said, the pressure switch is the cause.

Re: Whirlpool ADG7540 WOnt run, and flashes start light 8 ti

    Clean the filters for starters.
Then press and hold the start button till the light goes out.
Select your program. Press start again.
If the error comes back you’re going to have to get an engineer in to fully diagnose and rectify the fault.
Just click on the link to find an engineer near you.

Re: Whirlpool american fridge freezer – model 3xart730gw00

At a guess, the noise is from the freezer side of the machine.
If it is, the fan in there is the cause of the problem.
Will also cause uneven temperatures in the fridge. (ie. freezing in the bottom)

    Re: Hoover AS110 – 001

This machine has well and truly done my head in.
Went back to it, checked everything again, tried hot valve wiring on cold valve and water came in. Tried cold valve wiring on hot valve and water came in, baffled now as I couldn’t detect any voltage on cold fill wiring previously.
Put the wiring back the way it should be and everything worked. No broken wires, no dodgy connections, just don’t understand it at all.
No doubt this one will recall soon enough but at least my sore brain is getting a rest.
    😆
Thanks to all for the help and suggestions.

The door seal is available as a spare part, however, the old seal has to be cut off and a channel to receive the new one cut into whats left of it. Be prepared to spend a long time on this job, it’s not an easy one.
Only ever did one, always ordered a new door after trying the seal change.

    Re: Hoover AS110 – 001

Thanks Martin, superb info that’s sure to be invaluable and will probably lead me to the fault, you’re a star.

Thanks for the advice Simon, unfortunately I’ve already meggered the heater, motor, bit and pieces, whole machine and I can’t find anything other than the open circuit hot inlet valve.

Thanks for you help too tim, the cold valve definitely works. I tried the hot valve supply on it. Problem I’ve got is there is no supply to the cold valve. It appears to be routing to the pump.

Interesting theory there Mike but I would have thought that by changing the valves this would “reset” this protection?

Thanks to all of you, you’ve certainly given me some more avenues to explore and a headache to boot. 😆

    Re: Hoover AS110 – 001

On 7 the pump runs and machine spins. I spent a fair bit of time on this one trying everything I could think of. Even went as far as stripping the pressure system and washing everything out.
Racking my brains here (not a lot of them though) and not coming up with anything logical. Would a faulty pressure switch give this problem?

Don’t think anyone’s had a go at this one. The spiders webs were undisturbed.
Haven’t tried disconnecting individual items. Did hook the meter up to the inlet valves and tried machine. No mains voltage at either valve (other than hot valve on program 2). Trace wiring through spider city and appears to come direct from pcb on timer.

Aye, your right lads. All the prima machines I was sent to were dishwashers. Haven’t ever seen a Prima washing machine………… Yet.

Yep, you have to make two pilot holes for the screws.
