    Re: Whirlpool arc1738 tall fridge

The door handle is screwed on. In amongst the paperwork you received with the fridge there should be a bag with 2 small plastic plugs. These plugs fill the holes left when you remove the handle. The handle is then screwed on to the opposite side of the door.

Continuous flash is error code F1. Faulty NTC.

Yep. When the base is empty the float goes down and the switch resets itself.
If there is no water in the base (not the inside of the wash cavity) then you’ll need to get an engineer in to have a look.

Re: Zanussi dx6453 won’t release tablet

The flap opens onto the top basket, as it’s meant to. By opening the door you hear the flap fully opening back onto the dispenser.
If the tablet isn’t being washed out then water isn’t reaching it.
As Penguin already stated, check the spray arms for blockages, especially at the ends.
If these are clear and there are no obstructions stopping the arms rotating I’d guess that there’s a problem with the wash pump.

You’re looking in the wrong place. Pull the machine out, tilt it backward slightly (have towels handy for any spillage). If water appears on the floor the base of the machine is flooded.

To do it properly you need a new plug.
Wiring is basically reversed, hence the reason inverting the plug works.
However, it’s not very professional IMO and can lead to problems if someone unplugs the motor in the future and didn’t know the plug was inverted.

You’ll need both boards. Main board is bottom rear of machine. They’re not bad to move as they are on wheels.

From your description of the flashing light you need an NTC.
You’ll find the part in Shop@ or you can get an engineer by clicking on the link repairs@ or the link at the end of this message.

Flooded base and Askoll circulating pump??
You need to remove the plate under the door (on the front of the machine at the very bottom, held on by 4 torx screws).
See if it’s full of water and look in to the rear right, does it have a large black pump?
If it is flooded and the pump is black with the power connector in the water, you’ll need a new circulation pump and motor.

It’s a whirlpool machine. Should be flashing the start light with the error code.

That’s likely to be a single flash. NTC fault.

The NTC is on the underside of the bowl, two thin blue wires going to it.

As Dave says, probably flowmeter problem. Also check that the inlet valve is open and that the hose hasn’t been kinked when putting the dishwasher back in place.
