    Re: Diplomat/Wpool ADP8322 Dish Washer

the only fault code that can look like this is 1. 1 flash then a space then 1 flash etc

this is NTC but if its not its the pcb i noramlly keep a test ntc to try this

just measure my test one at room temp today and getting 55K ohms

buy a similar resistor disconnect ntc and replace with resistor and see if fault stops. obviously you cant run it for long it will overheat but its a cheap test

    from tech manual

If the START button is pressed for more than 20 seconds while a cycle is in operation all the LEDs flash

    hope this helps

if you want tech info let me have you email address

what do those 2 triacs feed ?

follow the current flow and it will lead to your problem

solder 2 wires on the board on the low voltage coils contacts to the heater relay
resecure board and put a volt meter on it and watch

or find an old board and swop heater relay you have not got a lot to lose

    Re: AEG 3888-8KG Temp Sensor

according to service manual there are 2 sensors in you fridge and 1 in your freezer

there is an air sensor and an evaporator sensor

    from manual fault diags
look at front display on fridge if there is a 0 in the top of the dislay its the evap sensor if its in the bottom its the air sensor

some of these sensors may be foamed in and require foam digging out and replacing

    Re: Candy CFD612-80

what worries me here is you say fault is no heat but there normally is a seperate error code for the ntc

i would suspect the heater relay on the pcb
to be certain you need to do one of the following

    1 change the relay
2 find the coil connections on the pcb and test voltage to relay while machine is running. if its a 12v relay you would expect over 8v when its energised ( alter if voltages sre different)
manufacturers have a habit of undervolting relays. they put 8v on a 12v coil. when relay is new it will pull in but as it gets older relay cant make it

    hope it helps

Re: Diplomat 8242 not heating water – where’s the element?

heating element not strange in fact very common

unplug dishwasher. pull it out and take side off to access

could be heater or pcb ( may be a bad solder joint on board )

test heater with multimeter on ohms scale you will get under 100 ohms if ok

count the number of flashes light on front panel ( from 1 to 15 flashes )

no of flashes = fault code
code in stickies at top of forum

    Re: Cannon C60LCIK gas oven

the spark generator senses the flame so if it goes out it relights it obviously the flame is too low to convince the circuitry that its lit. you could check the burner to see if there are any blocked holes around the electrode

it sound like another fault code
there is a list of fault codes for this machine but no info on how to read them
did you count flashes to see if a number coresponds to the fault codes ?

    thanks for trying m8

i did ask them what they would do if it was under guarentee and all i got was ” we would have to find one ”

i am just gobsmacked that a big firm like Bosch with their reputation can do this
