when you say door pops open i assume you just close it and it satrts again

have you checked hinges to see if they have been strained

to check clse door slowly and about an inch before it latches does it go stiff and feel like it does not want close

if memory serves me when you select progs on this machine all the prog stage lights come on

if you select wash wash, rinse and spin are on
if you select rinse rinse and spin are on

only when you push start does all go out exept the stage you are in . at this point door locks and you away

what we need to know is what happens when you push start

Re: Relays. What is the difference between SPCO & SPDT?

to do that in a relay would require 2 coils or using a dc coil and reversing polarity

    before you scap the board

check all capacitors for signs of the top bulging

try changing the power supply cap

from the picture i have connectors towards you look right hand side grey oblong block looks like a 1uf these go down with age

if it is that simple cheap fix

look in simple pcb repair tips above and you will see piture of other fridge boards with similar probs

    hope it helps

Re: Relays. What is the difference between SPCO & SPDT?

they are the same thing just a different way of describing

change over relay changes over from 1 contact to the other

therfore has 2 positions so double throw

same action as a 2 way switch

    hope this makes it clearer

lid is difficult to come off you have to spring it at the back and push back at the same time waggle it up and down

wires to front panel go through top hinge

if you suspect panel send both pcb’s to emw they will test as pair

check both motor and heater for earth faults

Re: AEG 60870 Error code 30

    agree with seamy

fault 30 if i have correct model as there are 13 variants to this dishwasher

    Water remains
    in base trough

Leakage at recipient, discharge trough, hose system (e.g., Y-type hose), regeneration dosage
    Inlet valve faulty
Water inlet too high (faulty flow governor at inlet valve)
Connecting hose regenerating dosing to discharge trough blocked
Water inlet channels in regeneration dosing unit blocked
Screens in the appliance clogged (also check spray arm nozzles for clogging)
    Pressure controller faulty
Pressure controller hose obstructed, bent or leaking
    Pressure controller wiring is faulty
Foam production in the appliance (splashed rinsing liquid / leaking dosing unit or con-compatible detergent / rinsing agent used)

    hope this helps

Re: Leisure Rangemaster 110 Gas, both ovens failed

you could check to see if the flame sensors have moved or gas burner blocked under sensor

apart from that sounds like a ffd fault
