Re: running modern L.G. washer on generator.

used to do a few disco’s in my youth did a few on the beach had to have a different generator on the turntables otherwise rercords would change speed when generator did
i found the best way to sort the problem was to run a 500w flood lamp to stabilise genny
using a washing machine is similar as loads are placed and removed the motor needs time to react hence voltage and frequency variations

at 150v to valve although this seems low i would still expect valve to open but as you say if this is the case then the pcb should be giving 240

sound like the triac that feeds the valve is faulty and only giving half wave supply

are you getting any fault codes ?

god i am having to think back now

you say door opens and closes but does not lock so cant be hinges

on some old tricity’s you turn the knob on the outside of the door to open and close them part inside door snaps can go with a bang as it has a small spring attached

part still avail in stock at qualtex

    part number CS27

    hope this helps

    Re: aeg lavamat W1059

    fault 5 is motor based

    motor traic short
    no signal from triac
    motor traic sensing circuit faulty
    motor relay contact sticking

to find which one you have to go into diagnostic mode

check motor for earth faults had this fault once and motor was wet

Re: creda simplicity w1000fw drum bearings

this is the standard old hotpoint design great machine to work on

    front comes off machine
remove font of drum leave outer drum in situe

pulley threaded onto spider and locked with 30mm nut

spider and bearing available very cheaply

can do repair after experience in about 75 minutes
