well the resettable stat goes out at 160 degrees so its designed to get very hot

no but the heater get hot in dry mode and could lower its insulation resistance

we need to hook up something with no earth which is why a lamp is good

then try dry mode and see what happens

if it gives F08 then it cant be a heater fault to earth

ok small leakages to earth can upset electronics even though they cant trip the rcd

you could try connecting a lamp across the wires ( not an led one) to simulate the element without chances of earth leakage

was wondering if as the heater got hot the leakage increased giving rise to your fault code

did you check the heater resistance to earth ?

even if a switch operates does not mean its electrically ok

test the switch and check wiring to the board

    yes have seen that
dont want lots of work at my age but a lot of these networks pay lower wages compared with your own sourced calls

Connect has a similar scheme going

dont know with this one but some manufacturers do all sorts of silly things. there is a beko where to change the oven door hinge recievers you have to remove the oven cavity

all you can do is look around. from the top maybe an option

you can use string to get it into place and then juggle it to get the screws in

if you let me have the complete serial no will see if i can find a part no for the door harness

you could go back and look at the harness at the bottom of the door first if you want to make sure

if the latch is in the closed position you can flip it forward using a length of wire coat hanger with a 5mm right angled hook on the end

insert it into the lactch hole and hook it behind the latch mech and pull

put a safety loop on the other end and watch your eyes if it slips. best to hold it with pliers

not sure why smag use a different motor but I would check the specs of both the smag unit and the replacement

was wondering why the smag motor was so expensive and it may be either quality ot it could be increased air flow

look at specs on motor wattage or air flow

if the unit is being vented outside be aware of the outlet hose sizes. did some guarentee work for one manufacturer and we were instructed to check the hose size and if to small to walk away and void the warranty

did not want you to replace it and find the new one is not as good

beacause of the restrictions you have to think out of the box a bit
think about what else you can search for that will bring up similar results
