to clear lint the unit would have to be stripped

another thing that can occasionally trip it is turrning the programme off before the end

yes its a very expensive motor for some reason. I have got a motor that seems to look identcal but the motor unit inside is different so i can only assume the have fitted a better quality or higher power motor

if it was me i would first take it down and strip it so see if the motor is tight. after all it may need a little oil and it might continue to work for a while

you have nothing to lose as its broken now

    green is heater box

    orange is thermostats

look at the theremostats and see if there is a little button between the wire terminal. if yes push gently and see if it clicks

well first is to see if its getting hot at all

take the lid off and the dryer section is often at the top. see if it gets hot.
if not, unplug machine and look round the heater box and there is often a thermostat attached with a small button in the middle. gently press that button and if it goes click it should start working again
if it trips out often then it would need to be stripped and cleaned as lint may be blocking air flow

there are fault codes but Miele hide them

you have to get into service mode to find them

but first check there no water in the base of the machine in the anti flood float

pull the machine out and gently and slowly tilt the machine backwards till its at about 45 degrees and look for water appearing on the floor. if yes you have a leak and you need to find it

the nearest i can find to a service manual is this

    https://www.manualslib.com/manual/801663/Miele-G1000.html#manual

    K.

    probably stiff motor then

    or bad windings

first thing that happens on any dishwasher is it pump out
then it starts to fill. since the fill can be quiet you need to open the door to check if it is or is not

after its full it starts the wash motor

miss any of these steps or if there is a fault with any step machine aborts and pumps out any water

find the owners manual and see if that helps

if not post a pic of the panel with the lights on when it stops
these will be a fault code hopefully

can see why your confused when the only advice you get is from a complete idiot

first off try and get at the motor and see if it spins freely
if no you may be able to srip it and add some light oil. not a permanent fix but may give you 12 months or so

if it will spin it may have a capacitor and these are often cheapish so worth a try

this is from a similar model

If an F14 fault is displayed
With the circulation pump operating after a water intake step, the heater pressure
switch is checked to ensure that sufficient water pressure exists in the wash water
circuit. For this the heating relay must have been activated.
    1. During a heating step the heater pressure switch may have registered no or
insufficient water pressure at the circulation pump.
    a. Check the dispensing of detergent and rinse aid. Excessive foam
development means that the pressure at the heater pressure
    switch will be less.
    b. Check for correct water level within the machine (water level
should be just under the filter arm).
    • If incorrect water quantity is registered, see “Inlet/Drain LED flashes during
    water intake” for troubleshooting steps.
    c. Check the filters for blockage.
    d. Check if circulation pump is defective by performing the following
    steps:
    1. Open the dishwasher door and insert your Miele bypass tool
    into the latching mechanism.
    2. Turn on the dishwasher and select a wash program.
    3. After the 30 sec. draining step, pay attention to the lower spray
arm. As water enters the cabinet the circulation pump should
be operating, increasing the water flow pressure. You should
begin to see a small flow of water coming out of the lower
    spray arm.

    hope it helps

if you can access the wires anywhere on the run you can either use a volt stick ( but you have to make sure you can get enough seperation from other cables to be reliable or a clip ammeter as long as it can read low amps

    no that is not good

normally i would say just change the fan
    but
I have had 2 machines like this where the motor mounts had allowed the fan to come into contact with the rear cover

so far have found no cure. was going to inject glue / filler on the last one but the customer decided to scrap it

so you choice is do you take a punt on whether its just the fan

could have got you a circuit diagram to find the board connection to see if the valve was energised but since its under guarentee, happy days, its their problem
