without the fan the unit wont function as designed. it will probably need the fan to push the cold air into the fridge so if that not working the fan might well be the reason but fridges are not my area of expertise

Also it is highly likely this fridge is made by Liebherr and rebadged Miele so the parts should be cheaper if you go down that route

we get a lot of problems on various makes of washer dryers where the element is starting to fail but not failed enough to blow your house safety trip, they have earth leakage faults on the element that plays havoc with the electronic sensors

you would have to measure the earth leakage of the element possibly when its hot

ok inlet problemi can understand as the dryer takes in small amounts of water to condense the steam

but the other fault as you say should show up on wash

does the dry cycle go into error from minute one or does it take a few minutes ?

if you let them know if the price is way out they will put it right

have found a few things i could have got cheaper from the manufacturers site
