Participantwouldnt u get an f11 fault if it went o/c?
helo_75
Participantfaulty heater or wire broken off heater?
given no fault code and the fact that it rinses, empties and spins, its the most likeley culprit
now please dont change the heater cos i said it might be.. a good check with a mulitmeter first to confirm is a good move….
with the plug out, of course
oh, and some safety gloves, they got some really nasty, sharp edges.. i have a pretty bad scar from one of those exact machines

Participante7 on a HAIER has always been a motor fault
helo_75
Participantearly ones had a relay pcb. later ones had the really built into the lock
helo_75
Participanti think the first port of call would be the motor brushes to be fair
what youl probably find is that the door locks and the ‘door locked’ light is not illuminating
and that is normally points to the motor brushes

Participantdepends on serial number im afraid!!!
helo_75
Participantoh, and if i was hoover, id be onto them, refferring to it as a hoover when it wasnt.. these claims can be rather damaging

Participanttheres a very good chance she picked up one of little archies toys and the belt burned
thats a more likely cause tbh
helo_75
Participantgood luck with that one
best way is to leave the drum attatched to the back panel, unhook the belt and take aways the drum and back panel complete
not hard, just time consuming
helo_75
Participanthow do you know hes a fire investigator?
anyway, itll be the motor thats done that, always is
helo_75
Participantthats a common fault that
the ntc will be faulty, not massiveley expensive, but a pig to change and put back together correctly
helo_75
Participantyeah later models ran the neutral to the pcb through the toc
quite common
helo_75
Participantagrred, theres a lip on the drum which puls the bottom edge connector off the pcb
always happens when they been carried
either that or they havent turned the water on
helo_75
