    yep its blocked

theres a hole between the condenser chamber and the pump housing, and its blocked
if u put your hand in where the condenser fits, and pull the fluff out, u can then remove the pump housing and poke the hole out (in the bottom left) with something like a cable tie

please unplug if your gonna try it

    try unblocking the pump

    remove plug
    remove bottom plinth, undo filter

id tilt machine back, so all the water doesnt flood out

have plenty of towels handy, or try and bale it all out first

like has been said, u need an evaporator cover …. the water tank is under the evaporator at the back of the fridge

thats why its freezing.. possibly a sensor/element problem

dunno how many times we have to advise these items be replaced , its an easy and inexpensive repair (apart from the evaporator cover)

if its dripping, youll need to change the tank, it comes complete with the hoses

    i really hope this helps

Re: samsung machine e3 error code

machine does not start as though water turned off

is the connection and operation of the pressure switch normal
    is the pressure hose damaged
    is the presure hose bent
check the operation of the water level switch

if all above ok, then pcb is faulty

a mobel number would help, although if you check the connection of the pressure hose on the switch, u may well find the hose has been rubbing on the weight where it connects to the switch

if ur lucky, you can just cut down, refit the hose, and MOVE the pressure switch

a model number might be able to help more

The water tanhk is not frozen up

There is water gwtting to the valve/pump at the rear.

however when despence lever is pressed in there still is no water.

You used to hear the water flowing when lever pressed in but there is no sound on water at all.

    please help

water tank isnt frozen up?? can u see inside the tank?

listen, if u wanna be sure, take the pipe off the other side of the valve and activate the water valve, see if it comes out then, if it does, the tanks got ice in it

your looking for a fault that probably isnt there

the only way you’ll ever be sure of a fault is to get a meter out and test

reasoning for considering the defrost heater is faulty?

the sensor has switched the machine to defrost, and because the heater is faulty, it wont defrost, will it?

therefore, it switches off, untill the point where it either defrosts naturally, which could take days,or you manually restart it by unplugging/plugging it back in

either way, the fault lies in the fridge, not the freezer, ive NEVER done any work on the freezser side personally

and i fix a LOT of them

    the defrost heaters probably faulty

can only buy as part of the evaporator, but it can be prized off

comes complete with defrost sensor and thermal cut out, advisable to change all 3 components to ensure affective repair

unfortunately, u can only change the brushes on these

its not common for brushes to cause earth leaks

    armature and windings arent serviceable

    new motor im afraid

No, eprom comes preprogrammed, unless you buy a blank one of course, in which case only the hotpoint boys can program them
