I personally hate what has happened to you whilst working for my previous employer one of the engineers got accessed of stealing a expensive watch as he was fixing a dryer upstairs in customers house and they had to go out. I personally hate the fact of no one being at the property I attend for that reason I also pride myself on my reputation and reliability and in these challenging times where people where supposed to stay2 meters apart our job has been made much more difficult, like dave said don’t lose any sleep over it, just think of the old saying we learn something new everyday kai
I have on a machine where it was in damp conditions and I couldn’t fix it I changed motor module and the complete harness but I could not stop thee display being erratic
Have you got 240v to the heater itself not where it’s connected at the pcb this will tell you if the element is faulty or the pcb if the relay on the pcb isn’t clicking it may not be sending power to the element
I agree with gem sounds like the front ntcor stat not working correctly if it’s in warranty she should phone them back as they have the easy option of changing part willy nilly
I haven’t used them for years because they sent out a used part and wouldn’t refund me and they closed my account as my spend wasn’t high enough
Just a thought did you look at the door lock as some of theses machines have the release for the door lock where the manual release attaches
As this is a gas appliance and the top needs to be removed to check where the fault is you need to get a gas safe engineer to carry out the repair
If all the condenser duct is clean then check the fan motor blade as these block up and take part the heater housing and clean that
They must have stock of the model you want do a Google search for the model they are offering if it is available online then they do have stock
