Did you look really really hard and with high magnification at the relay solder joints on the board?

How old is the machine? Has pump had time to wear out? (= intermittent)

    Re: LG WM16336FDK

Had a problem a little while ago on an LG. Can’t remember precisely what symptoms were but had to do with not start up. Turned out to be the touch switches (tactile switches) on the fascia board packing up. Replaced them and all was fine. Was in a damp atmosphere which I think speeded the corrosion of the switches. Just check them for continuity when pressed – fiddly but not too difficult.

Hah! Another one’s just rung in with same fault! Holiday cottage right here in town. Model “H703” 😕 18 months old, and been repaired four times already apparently.

😆 Oh, you cynics are unstoppable! 😆
I’m quite sure there was a good reason for getting rid of the self tappers. Probably during research and development testing they were falling out and getting into the electronics where they fused everything. 😆
Will take plenty of superglue, cable ties and a small drill as well as a selection of screws.

Thanks for part no. Helo. Fascia looks a bit different from the one on Connect – everything in a different place. Suppose it’s not surprising when they change design every couple of weeks. :rolls:

Make sure to put new one back exactly as old one was. Apparently they don’t like being in any other position or orientation.

    Re: Zannusi W/Dry ZWD16270W – C24 Fault code

As pup says, this is common fault on all Lux now. Where’ve you been, not to know that? 😆
Dryer heater (apparently can also be wash heater in some instances), drops below 40Mohm ins. res. and electronics refuse to play. Check wattage of dryer ele as there are two versions 700+700 or 1000+1000 IIRC.

Every little bit of weight counts! So they haven’t been in the panniers for a very long time. 🙂

    Re: Facebook advertising…

I hope Lee’s right. We could all spend a little time each day clicking on the competitors we don’t like and raising their advertising costs to the point where they have to give up. 😈
But maybe the clicks have to each come from a different computer? Why? I can’t imagine the advertising providers would be fussy about where the clicks are coming from as long as they’re getting paid.

    Re: Zanussi IZ16S

Ah, just as they do on Hoover Quattro and Hotpoint WM drums. Never seen it on Zanussi before though. Often catch it early before it goes right through on Hotpoint when replacing the brushes. Customers seldom realise what we do for them.
