When you have an odd make or model it’s a good idea to remove the old element and bring it away with you so you can compare it with all the pics you can find on sellers’ and wholesalers’ sites. Failing that do a drawing or take some pictures and measurements.

You can usually get MTR8001 £8.49 at Connect to fit most things. Worth having one in stock. The fixed plate behind the fan has alternative fixing holes to allow it to fit different ovens and you could probably drill a few more if they still weren’t right.

ParticipantRe: aeg 1271 sensotronic fault
There’s some info on mediator for 1261sensot. but it may be different (not same PNC). It has a hybrid timer VA20/30 and a test cycle with step 1 being fill and not much else. Wondering if yours is stuck in a test cycle waiting for you to do something?

ParticipantRe: miele WS5426 drain pump
I had to do a WS5425 recently. I got a pattern pump (W1-07004-GRE) from Semenedis for £12.90 which fitted OK (identical bayonet) although I seem to remember having to fiddle about a bit to extend the wiring to reach the terminals. Not certain if there was a TOC on it either but it had an earth terminal so I think I gave it an earth connection which the original lacked (double insulated coil IIRC). Don’t quote me on any of this ’cause my memory’s a bit vague.

I don’t know if this is anything like the Bosch with the inspection cover over the pump impellor held in place by a T20 head screw? If it does have that then could be that the cover ain’t fitted back properly.

Have you tried e-mailing Lux via their website? They ought to be able to get you a model no. from the handle code.
