If regen valve is running this suggests machine detects that it’s already filled? Blockage of some sensor or other?

Think the reason no-one’s been able to help is that the fault description is a bit vague. I’d grill the customer (on high heat 😆 ).

Ah yes, I see, those big old Schrack relays had a 230v coil. Presumably the held-in button kept it supplied. Whereas the pcb just gets a pulse.

❓ Hi Jim, could you explain that to us please. I thought they worked just the same way.

    Hi Tony,
    Thanks for the reply.
If I’m suddenly overtaken with an overwhelming desire to get this sorted then I may do that but frankly it’s unlikely. For one thing it’s in a very damp room and I don’t want to guarantee it in such a situation. Also it would mean two more trips to a distant customer. Anyway I’ll remember next time I come across one.
BTW, I could not find this model in your list so maybe you need to update that!

What caused it to fail? Might be something else in m/c which would make it BER anyway.

    Re: diplomat amp552

If it’s a Servis then you may find the wires to the connectors are labelled A,B,C etc. and this relates to CNA, CNB, CNC on board. As for the fault, there’s not much you can do but try in parts. Cheapest route is probably recon board from EMW first and send it back if no joy.

in reply to: Fault code for Candy? #277071

    Re: Fault code for Candy?

Go back,(when you’ve got nothing better to do) change the hose back to hot fill only. See if machine then works again. If so, explain to mad woman about how pcb is too intelligent and if she wants the washing to finish cool, she”ll have to have a new board. If still getting five flashes, change ntc and charge for second fault. (Best put it all in writing.)
