    Re: Beko d/w DE3431FW

Thanks for that Galway. This one is a DWD4310, I was using this thread to avoid starting a new one. (Waste not want not 😆 ). So I’ve put a “temperature probe” ready on my next order from connect. (Special order product. Oh dear.)

Uh oh, spoke too soon. Customer on phone today, says it now does pre-wash then halts with stop light on. Will have to go back and give it a good kicking. Won’t be going for some days yet tho’ so meantime any thoughts appreciated.

I had one like that a long time ago. I think clearing the filter cured it. So, since I’m sure that’s the first thing you checked, could be a dodgy pump?

Well, that is absolutely normal for a start.
I would say it’s worth one more visit if you go armed with a list of exactly what you intend to check and go through that systematically. That way you set a limit. I find that if I have to think whilst doing the job, I get a bit frustrated and don’t work efficiently. (That is most of the time :rolls: )
Incidentally, temperature sensor (ntc) can be checked by seeing if the resistance across it reduces as it gets warm (e.g. by breathing on it). But those Indy ones are difficult to get your meter leads onto so probably substitution is easier. Also tendency is more for connection to be weak point rather than component.

Would suggest search through sump for third / fourth 20p’s.

This is a hybrid mechanical timer, right? So I would think the problem is either in the wiring from timer to element or in timer itself.

    Re: Zanussi FX1365W short spin.

Sounds as if it might be intermittently draining too slowly due to coin or similar blocking pump/hose sometimes. Though this would not explain short spin duration ❓

That’ll be the one described on connect as “electronic PCB ac/dc” P’raps it converts AC to DC for the control module? Good idea I think, should have been done years ago instead of having one massively complex and expensive board.

Re: Dividing “Trade technical inquiries” in multip

On this subject it occurred to me that when I search the forums I sometimes get a lot of hits and it’s time consuming to read them all. Sooo… could we ask everyone who’s opening a new query to give a standardised form to their title (which is what comes up in results). So the standardised title could be something like: 1.Make2.Type(wm/dw/td/ff.etc)3.Model full number.4.(very important)NATURE OF FAULT.
Thus I might do a search for a model no. and go straight into the RELEVANT threads, without needing to read through threads entitled e.g.”Beko problem” just to find out whether or not it applies.
All that’s needed to achieve this is to put a big sticky notice at the top of the Trade Technical Enquiries forum.

    Re: zanussi fjdr 1666w

OK well the only other thing left is the wires/connections from the board to the pump since you have no power to pump.
However, I see there are two totally different boards listed on connect for that model. Does it have two boards?

    Re: Indesit WIL113 error

Have had a loose motor plug throw up error code varying between F01 and F08 on similar machines. Could be worth checking firmness of wiring/connection in that area. TBH it’s a time consuming business mucking about with these silly cheap electronics, be careful not to waste too much of your time on a loser. You might think the experience will come in handy later but it’s likely the design will change next week and the experience you gained will be obsolete!

Odd. In post one you said you had replaced the “recirculation pump”. So what is the “circulation pump”?

Damp motor (condensation on plastic brush holders) can throw up odd faults.
