Thanks, I’ll get back to you about it if she calls me back, which is quite likely if she gets short shrift from Argos.

Yeah, I’m hoping that tool will help me de-clutter my test leads pouch a bit. It’s choc a bloc at the moment with various terminals and rast plugs connected to wires which I can get my croc clips onto. When I need something, I usually can’t find it without tipping the whole lot out on the floor.

Just did completed listings search for “Servis spares”.
17 results of which 16 successful sales!! Could be good business.

I know what you mean. I’ve ordered one of these from Hong Kong:
    useful looking tool
Could take weeks to get here though.

😆 OK OK, maybe I’m taking it too seriously but I actually like some customers and would like to be able to offer them good advice. Have had some success with sending folks back to Currys in similar situations. Couldn’t find the board in EMW’s stock list. Wonder if they’ve decided to limit the aggro they subject themselves to?
And I would really like to know when the last “Servis” machines were sold? Isn’t some Chinese supplier going to buy the brand name, or do they have more sense?

That is weird. Iadom’s link works for me but not Nelson’s. I tried several things. I copied and pasted the link into a new tab and shortened it to the home page address and it still treated me as if I was logged out. 😕

Think the silica gel would only work if you keep it in an airtight (or as near as) box. And don’t open it!

Not listed seperately on Lux site, though nine diff. pnc s for your model, I only checked one. Don’t think you can get it on its own. Probably easiest just pay the price unless someone offers one from a scrapper. Are you sure the old ones done for? Never had a problem with one myself.

    Re: Schrach PB314012 relay required

You can try putting the part number straight into Google. However I tried it for your part and although data sheets and plenty of other stuff turn up I couldn’t find anywhere to buy it 😡 . Still, if you persist, and maybe go to the trouble of registering with tyco electronics you might get some help.
Alternatively go to radionics.ie and browse through the relays by tyco > schrack > 12v > and so on till you get down to something which has same specs or near enough (you may need to compare data sheets but the essential stuff should be printed on the relay itself). OR telephone them, give them your part number and they should be able to suggest a suitable alternative.

    Re: Ikea DWHb10 flow meter?

Yes. Just gently pull out the little pcb, buy a reed switch and solder it in. RS or radionics.ie part no. 2293692. Check orientation of old one before desoldering .

Have used hotpoint a few times and they’ve been very good on delivery. Not always next day, but they don’t make promises so you’re not left waiting around. When I ordered a complete sealed tub once it was a good price and delivered straight to customer bang on next day included.

Do EMW do a board for these? If so, best option I’d say. You can always return it if no cure.

Don’t know offhand what 6 is but 7 is reed switch (search here if not familiar) and is very common, assuming it’s Whirlpool clone.

Don’t really need to own up, just read the post count. (And multiply by ten or twenty for time spent reading others’ posts.)
