    R134A is the refrigerant, model number you quoted is not correct but sounds like the thermostat phial is broken off new thermostat price is normally around £18 or there about

    We are not allowed to tell you how to repair your machine just in case you do yourself damage but yes easy job Philips screwdriver and please pull the mains plug 🙂

    Hi can you hear the compressor running is it hotter inside the cabinet than normal ambient temp if you’re lucky it is only the thermostat!

    Common fault come across loads of times
    Learnt my lesson 2 years ago repaired a Hoover tumble dryer after testing cleaned my dirty hand prints off the control panel and also wiped the decals off cost me a new control panel went back 1 year later to repair her washing machine and she complained that her tumble dryer decals have come off again saying she only cleans it with a damp cloth?

    Just thinking about your complaint about programme stopping, can you hear any clicking noises coming from the machine (at top right hand side rear) if so common fault water distributor faulty but this should bring up a fault code??????? Just read the service manual on this and any fault will bring up a fault code

    Got it done one of these only a month ago PCB was at fault bad connection on board (dry joint) got out soldering iron saved customer 70 odd quid, looked at TDS cd no fault codes not DIY job please give us your postcode Repairs@ local engineer will solve the problem

    If it is going through the wash cycle its not the element more like a doggy thermostat if element was faulty machine would stick on wash and not move on, your complaint would be timer sticking best to get it checked as the wise words of penguin45 to be certain

    I use the two paper tissues to wipe the Fairy Liquid off my hands
    The door seal retainer springs have always been the same on Zanussi machines the more you do the easier it gets the first one took me nearly 1 hour now can do the job in 10 mins.

    Did check the armature no segments lifted and seemed ok fine on normal tumble, only when it ramped up to fast spin the fault appeared Ill wait and see what happens my customer will soon let me know
