Are the lights flashing towards the end of the cycle ? Also was there water left in the base ?

If so check the drain hose is not crimped or jammed preventing it draining within the time limit.

If I’m honest its not often you see brand new machines even the Italian ones with issues and those that do are 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time installation problems.

    Re: wmf940 f05 not pump

I have had a few of the Linear pressure switch models get stuck on F05 and refuse to reset, normally happens after a genuine blockage but the module refuses to reset and start again.

Normally end up reprogramming and its fine.

Obviusly this is not something you can do with out access to smart card programmer ect.

iadom wrote:A failing capacitor will often allow the drum to rotate when empty but fail under load, sometimes after the machine has been running for some time. As I said, the capacitor is not expensive, so not a major punt if you try one.

As said here I’d swap the capacitor and stats and try again. Also check the air duct in the door where the filter goes, fluff builds up and blocks airflow.

Re: Advice please-Indesit WG1033TPG water leak..

Unusual for these to leak but anything can happen, the seal is replaceable but its a massive job on one of these (possibly the worst Of all indesit’s) Iv been jumping on one of these before trying to get a new rear to fit the front but if your not changing the rear panel it SHOULD go back on ok.

What are the bearings like ? Any movement in the inner drum as the spider snapping and the inner drum cutting through the outer tank is more common than leaking from the seal.

Oh come on they are not that bad lol, the way people talk on here is they blow every week.

Led cards don’t often fail in my experience , Iv often found water damage on the ones that do go, machines often installed under sink or below the kettle/tea making location and spillage on top of the machine.

Generally if the machines are installed in a dry warm location the electronics is fine. HOWEVER the Indesit stuff has 0 protection against moisture, any hint of it and the boards will blow.

    Re: Hotpoint Ultima TDC62

For starters NEVER bypass those stats.

The One shot is blowing due to the drier over heating, this is caused by lack of air flow, is the condenser clean ? Possibly motor capacitor or reverse timer failure causing the motor to stop

Check airflow is clear, condenser clean

Check for correct motor action. Should turn clockwise for the longest then anticlockwise for very short period.
There should not be any delays longer than a few seconds when it changes direction

As for just one element was it on high heat ?

Re: hotpoint FDM554P water inlet prob

Do you know exactly what lights are flashing as it tells the error, my money would be not detecting fill from pressure switch and goes into error, possibly wash pump but I don’t think this model has a sensor to detect if its running.

Model, Pn of the board you want and Pn of the board they sent would be a start.

The extra connector does not mean its the wrong board. The replacements often have extra connections.

Re: HELP-Can you replace bearings on hotpoint aquarius WMF 7

Looking at it from the back Whitch side does the drain hose come out of left or right ?

Looking from the back, left is welded tank and right is screwed tank.

Is the door locking ok ? Brushes good ? If there is an issue with motor/motor wiring it will prevent pump kickig in.
