    Parts Center 160015977 Pump = £5.96
Qualtex Equiv (PMP62) similar price, or if you want the Askoll/Plaset ‘Bayonet Fitting’ less chamber, they are available from most pattern dealers at around a fiver! 🙂

From the customers odd description of the symptoms I bet it’s just a case of needing ‘resetting’ to be honest 😉

From memory I think it’s the 2nd & 4th buttons held in for 3 seconds should solve it ❗

The outer drum is made out of a synthetic polypropelene type material and could puncture if foreign bodies are caught between the drums.

So the first thing is the UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE :zap: in order to investigate further.

    Bryan,

I have yet to change a stat on one of these machines to be honest. I would tend to suspect the fan is the problem, either fluffed up or loose on the motor spindle. 💡

Don’t let that put you off ordering new stats, but as I say, I’ve never had problems with them (so far at least anyway 🙄 )

Re: Bosch WVF2000GB/34 washer/dryer drum bearing kit needed

    Pete,

We can get you the bearing kit you need provided you add this information to your email as follows : Masterpart Kit No BS05109

    http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Washing+ … rings.html

and email that info to: spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk who can order it for you.

As you have already discovered, Bosch do not supply a Bearing Kit at all for this machine, but we have other sources at far far cheaper prices to obtain the exact parts you need for the job 😉

All 4 regulators are wired in parallel so possibly one has failed shorting out the others 😕

…by the way, because the fan only blows air in one direction only and thru the element box, during the short 3 second reverse tumble its not blowing and so the element switches off to prevent overheating !

In almost all cases the problem is that the element (Part No 481225928675) becomes open circuit. The 2 thermostats (Part No TOC36) that are attached are the second most usual failure.

The only other possibility is the exhaust stat (Part No 481227168369)

Garethh & DOBES are talking about the same sort of problem BUT 2 totally differing machines. 😕

So please let’s not get confused here.

i.e Symptoms = the same but the solution = very different :lesson:
