Perhaps you too could get the answer you need from the Smeg Website. I have put the link below for your convenience 🙂

ParticipantRe: Aeg oven not working
David,
Well what info you have given is a bit vague (would be better if you quoted the Model/Serial No’s to be specific 😉 ) But usually it’s either the element at fault or you’ve accidentally got the oven timer set on ‘Auto’ maybe 💡

Laurence,
From the photograph you sent it looks as though it’s just that button thats cracked, in which case all you need is 168318 as boro mentioned (all of £1.29) 😉

Well then, as you well know as far as UKW is concerned, nothing is impossible 8) *

Kind of I guess, if you wish (seems like a good thing though that it should be) but I just thought that I personally needed to extend my own phone book. I get inundated with calls from customers, emails etc from those desperate to get there machines fixed that fit into what I call the ‘obscure!’…many of which I won’t touch anyway, but I do like to help them in the hope they will return.
The ‘Weblinks’ listing incidentally is indeed very comprehensive and those that are using the site can get the info they require from it. 😀 However those NOT on the Internet but instead on the phone to me asking, I would like to pass on answers just the same 😉

Hirundo? Maybe some are confusing them with Hitachi, which were a re-badged Servis as I recall.
Thanks for the other numbers by the way…duly added to the list 😉

May I have the pleasure of introducing a new Moderator to the ever strengthening team and one of UKW’s great assets: –
😀 Eastlmark 😀
Mark, single handedly on many occasions, has helped out both trade and public alike since the outset of UKW back in the summer of 2003. And no doubt will continue to do so in his new role as Moderator 😀
Welcome aboard Mark!

Miles,
Sorry you couldn’t get any joy locally, it’s a common enough product throughout the country though and most of us listed on UKW could have fixed it for you…Ah well, at least you are sorted now 😀

nomayne,
The model number does not appear on our database of UK sold Ariston machines :rtm: so I suspect this machine is not located in the UK :con:
Therefore try : – http://www.merloni.com

Joe,
You need to concentrate your efforts toward the ‘Pressure Chamber Unit’ that lies directly alongside the ‘Water Inlet/Drain Reservoir'(the bit with the wires attached 😉 ) as that is the likely source of the problem
Always ensure you pull the plug first!

Since you asked….My favourite tipple this Yuletide is ‘Fullers London Pride Real Cask Conditioned Ale’….and as luck would have it, their lorry passes my door daily, so I expect they could stop to offload a barrel or two to keep me going 😆
