Re: NEFF double oven with more than one "symptom" of ill hea

……because they had no clue as to what was wrong with it. Easy get out for them not to get involved. You would still have it and be using it had you called out Neff in the first place.

But Ally, you know the saying A fool and his money are soon parted He has no doubt wised up to the fact that investing in a sub £200 is far less of a financial risk than one twice or three times the price. Current statistic appear to show that cheap washing machines can last just as long. If you were to quote ‘BER’ into his ear he would no doubt conclude that his losses are marginal, then go online to Argos for a replacement.

Does the program not complete at any point? During that time does the water container actually fill with condensate water? To access diagnostics (see attached photos from manual)

Do bear in mind that the heater is fed via the thermostat, so the total resistance could be increased as a result of the stat being faulty? Any poor connection will produce excess heat so if the terminal connections are good, the heater resistance is good, then the stat may play it’s part in the overheating experienced?

Your oven is a different type and does not have such a limiter therefore your issue should be dealt with seperately in a seperate thread to avoid confusion.

Yes Zanussi are part of the Electrolux group of companies so there are badges versions of the same product. Including AEG, Blomberg, Electra, Ikea and so on.

The pump and water level float may well be all crudded up. Side panel off and take unit out and clean it. No easy C/A& D solution I’m afraid so if unsure call out a local repairer and get it serviced.

This is one of the later washer-dryers with the sealed drum and integral condenser unit I believe. Sadly I know little about them other than what is explained in the service manual. But the symptoms are so random, with no apparent fault code indication, it must be due to an earth leak on the dryer element causing the electronics to go ape.

So my guess is earth leakage, check it out. 😉

If you are certain there’s no issue with the water pressure to the machine then it has to be the valve at fault. A common enough problem anyway.

It does sound that the valve is faulty. And yes it will time out if not filled within 5 or so minutes.

    Re: Bosch WTW84560 leaking water

Yours is the later one with the modified condensate unit so it’s up to date with the latest mods at least. Looking at the photo closely though it does suggest that that condensate unit is the problem. So perhaps the water is weeping across the inside ‘roof’ of the chamber and down the earth wire? Only by unclipping that unit and checking it out closely could you find out further I would think.

These machines are infuriatingly over engineered for their own good I reckon. 😕

With the best will in the world it would never spin only tumble. So either the belt (00650499) has snapped or the 9mf motor capacitor (00622991) has failed. The former more likely.

Can you give us the full model number of your dryer together with the FD number. There have been a number of mods on these since coming onto the market, yours may be included?
