Re: belling oven xou117 is my customer deluded?

    Thanks all,

only askin before i go because don’t get much call for cookers.

The reason I wondered if my customer was deluded is because I never come across a oven behaving like this before. I though maybe the fan blowing air around the oven may have given the illusion of warmth to someone putting their hand in?

A 15mm check valve, the type that have a slot for a scredriver rather than a handle, placed directly before the tap valves will sort it.
Involves a bit of plumbing, but the only way to ensure the pressure is not altered by customer, or when machine out for decorating, etc, etc.

Some of these older ones i seem to remember having a few where the heater wire frays, and what with the vibration on the spin etc.

    Re: Hoover VHD91432D Fault Codes

PS. Think it might be VHD9143ZD.

No such code as EC2 I’m afraid.

E02 is probably what it is and that = Fill time-out.

    Both spot on.

Stormed in with electronic fault finding hat on….
but after shifting enough plastic carrier bags to make any greenpeace activist retch, I found the drain pipe had dropped down and was slowly but surely draining off the machine…hence E02

    Re: Servis MV6000W Door Seal

Thats the model number off back of machine.

No drain spout, slightly raised bumps every so often on outer flange of seal where it meets glass.

    Not seen this one before?

Re: Whirlpool washing Machine Mod AWO3761/S

Eliminated interlock by running machine on 2′ drain cycle. It will do that no problem.

Door lock light comes on within 30 secs on any other programme.

Re: Whirlpool washing Machine Mod AWO3761/S

Got same fault as described here,

Changed brushes as advised, machine worked ok for a fortnight, now back to flashing door light.

Have had brushes back off to check, all ok.

Did you find a fault in the loom? Have you cured fault?
