Door switches is a good shout .

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFX3267GB/10 – motor won’t turn
There’s no reset required on these appliances after btush/motor failure. If , after replacing the brushes the motor fails to start then either the motor is totally goosed or the motor has taken out the control module.

If its the top Led flashing and the doors not locking = faulty door lock.

Its a heat pump dryer so you don’t get the same intense heat that you get from conventional dryers . They are very energy efficient but do take a little longer on their cycles.

ParticipantRe: Bosh WTW863s0gb/11 container full
‘Container full’ is normally a blocked pump or blocked hose between pump and container. A blocked condenser would normally be indicated as ‘clean filter.’ The drain pump is situated on the RHS by the compressor. Whilst not the easiest thing to access , it can be removed and cleaned ok. These are susceptible to blockages , especially if there are pets present.

Drain pump or heat pump ?

ParticipantRe: bosch wae24260gb/01 no heat
They normally won’t show a no-heat fault code to the customer , just take an extra approx 105 minutes to complete. I presume you’ve checked the heating element ?

ParticipantRe: Bosch WAE24369/GB/13 – not starting
The reason its saying zero is probably because its still showing the end of the last cycle used . And Martin , because I’m a nice chap I would let them off as ‘customer advice’ …..allowed for appliances less than 6months old 🙂

Normally it’s an inverter failure but also check safety fuse and door switches operation.

To be honest , intermittent e:24 is such a pain in the backside. Whilst it can mainly point towards slow draining , it can be a blocked drain hose/sink connection, stuck non-return valve , drain pump access cover loose , faulty/blocked drain pump or failing/blocked heat pump . It can sometimes be difficult to diagnose especially when it doesn’t occur when you’re there. Sorry I can’t be more specific but the error code has too many possibilities to pinpoint it exactly without examining or testing the machine personally.

My guess would be that he’s fitted it from the front and hasn’t put ALL the cables back onto the element itself .

1st thing – check installation to make sure the decor door/door seal/fixing brackets aren’t preventing the door from closing properly. You should also check that there isn’t anything behind the appliance – plug socket/pipes/cables etc – pushing on the rear wall. This can push the top basket fwd , putting pressure on the door and causing sensor/magnet misalignment. One way to check is to bring the machine forward and run a cycle with the machine out of its install . If all that is ok , I’d be looking at a new door lock. Have only ever changed one sensor but that brings up an error code.

If that’s top and bottom lights , it indicates no or slow filling.

ParticipantRe: Siemens SMV65M00GB/14
Which side tank , left or right ? Not sure it actually fills on the initial start up or during cycles ready for the next fill ? The left hand side tank is the main tank with the right hand side tank only filling at final rinse I think.

Ok , having now looked at the model , it appears to be a full metal tub appliance. I’d ask the customer to press on the door when it ‘stops’ to see if it restarts ? If it does then weak lock or installation problem to blame I think.
