cheers for reply bob but when i originally cleared the ice i did not switch appliance off i unplugged the fan motor cleared ice and reassembled.also the interior light at the exact same time is still off and when i went today we switched both stat knobs to off position and the green light stayed on is that normal we then turned to i-care and the interior light is still off.

    Re: Samsung RS21NCSV

i aint got them on me at the mo they are in the office but if the fault was not there then it is then i would assume so.the heater unplugged would defo be picked up.you have to order a full fridge evap as well to un peel the heater for these ridiculous.

    Re: Samsung RS21NCSV

that is a fault code and if you leave heater disconnected it would not work anyway as when it goes onto defrost it relies on the heater to kick it back in if there is no heat it will stay off for ages and totally defrost.

    Re: Servis M6852 start button

the start on servis was terrible the best way to start them i found was to strip the handle and put a bit more tension on the little spring then advise the cust to press start BEFORE they close the door if it is the model with the little pcb up top it remembers you have pressed it,then close door firmly and wait it will start. However if she has damaged the buttons etc it may need a new top pcb and if it is janus you wont be able to prog it.

the fan runs when the door is closed so if you tested it with the door switch open it would have no supply.

if its a beko the def timer is down beside the comp,i did a fridgidaire recently and you had to take the lid off the appliance and it was under there in a recess.

    good hunting
