    Re: E/LUX commercial microwave

Same as Therma, the PNC code is 94760216800, theres no service info available with error codes though, is the operations manual with the appliance? Likely its listed in it.
All microwave ovens are the same basically so test the components as you would a domestic oven taking the same precautions obviously.

Re: Help putting oven door back on ( Hinges – Candy FP815X )

Going by the pic, catch the stainless steel hinge part (it will be quite hard to move as its sprung) leaving the door flat as it is, push the hinge to right (towards floor). There should then be a locking catch that you bring up to keep hinge locked in open position. Do same with other side. Then offer door up to oven & put door back on locating hinge in slot correctly, carefully open fully, put locking device back to original position on both hinges, door should close fully then o.k.

Thought vacuum cleaners or any double insulated appliance (no earth, 2 core supply cable) didn’t need testing, just visual inspection, i’m open to correction though.

If its an analogic type device, it operates by generating a voltage of up to 5volts as the water level rises. PNC of machine would help as there are 5 versions of this model.

If its the 3phase motor are you sure the earth was a clean earth connection. Think from memory its a white cable connection to the earth of the motor that comes from invertor board.

C3 is float switch problem normally. You may need to clear memory of eeprom, hol in pre-wash & soak buttons while turning knob to gentle spin position.

When a customer says machine is dead it most likely means its not going, customers “dead” may mean it starts but doesn’t take in water or turn drum etc.
It may have supply just doesn’t start, pump may be jammed for instance, as for testing , multimeter testing will tell you loads of things, Service Force engineers by the way who work on this appliance u/g don’t work or test live.
P.C.B can be inspected with power off & burn marks are usually obvious if theres major damage.

Pump/filter blockages will cause pump to run continuously till all water is emptied. Check eror code in diagnostics to confirm fault, E21 will mean a pump/filter/hose blockage.

Motor may be going out on thermal o-l, nown to hapen on some of these when used with big loads, again though diagnostics will give you the exact error code.

I’d advise everyone not to bypass a safety interlock device like this. Diagnostics will let you know last known error code. Surely a test meter will trace the fault anyhow .

Have had problems with AEG motors cutting out on thermal o/l on long programmes. Sounds like tacho problem that you describe though. Check wiring & plug connections to motor & board as they suffer from duff connections every now & again. Have you checked brushes & armature?

Re: Zanussi ZWF12070W1 CONTINUOUSLY PUMPING -DIAGNOSTICS?

There should’nt be water in level switch, water should go out drain hose or detergent drawer before reaching level switch which is at top of machine.

    Post the error code..
Error code will be the flashing of the start button l.e.d when a fault occurs, it flashes red (first digit) then green (2nd digit) of error code, count the times it flashes & post fault code on here
