Just be careful swapping over “thermostats” from one heater to the next. There is an NTC in this appliance not a thermostat, would recommend the correct one for the appliance is fitted.

    Hi Georgina.
Perhaps if the inside of it scares you & you are neither confident or perhaps competent to do a repair, you would be best advised to call a repair engineer?

do the beeps come in any order, for instance are there perhaps 3 beeps, 4 beeps then a pause, the number of beeps normally give an indication to error

Presuming it is filling but no pulses received back from flowmeter to p.c.b. Check the small fine cables (usually blue) from flowmeter to board, they usually break in loom at bottom of door.

Have the plastic spacers been fitted onto the condenser at rear to provide adequate ventilation/airflow at rear, if there is not proper ventilation it may not run as well as it could.
Take a temperature reading at bottom of fridge and see what it reads, you may find its below 2 degrees, and if you take a temperature at top & its 3 then ave’ temp could be closer to 2 than you suspect.

Whatever about the other components, the thermostat was never going to work, as the pipe carrying the gas which expands and contracts was cracked and there was no gas in the thermostat.

You may be correct that the other components need replacing, however I would like to try the component which is 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} broken first.

by the way where can I get a list of part numbers for this fridge?

I’ve never seen one of these with a thermostat phial broken like that before, perhaps it was broken while removing it, you can get part numbers for this or any other Electrolux product from this link… thermostat part number is 4055179354

That’s a thermostat that pic shows, most likely had nothing to do with fault described, the fan (4055179321) and defrost timer (4055208914) should be replaced i’d reckon to cure the problem.

Very few Beko’s suffer from bearing failure. Only done a few Beko in last 5 years, may have done 100 bearing jobs in that period.

Yep thats mains filter, not had many of them go, had dozens of motor caps’ blow out though. Motor capacitor is located mounted at motor, access via small aperture at rear where hose connects to.

Re: Beko DWD5412W circ motor issue

Not wiring to circulation motor, the fine wires normally blue & black, 2 blue wires to flowmeter, 2 black wires to NTC are the ones that break and cause problem that you describe.

Comms connection on board is for putting software on in factory, they come programmed for particular model so long as you ordered using correct model number.
