Micky i’m from Fermanagh, pressure sw’ is likely just very hard to make click by blowing in to it.
Circulation pump motor may have a blockage on the impellor & it can’t get up required pressure to cause pressure sw’ to activate. Circulation pump is easilly split to check this.
I know it doesn’t have display but if you go into service mode you can check fault codes.
Common problems are flowmeters incorrectly seated or plastic paper restriction on circulation pump impellor.

The service manual makes good reading, its not the best of a translation….

“The drain hose catch fall off and has not fix up the drain hose at the back of the washing machine
The drain hose is obdurate with the cloacae and cause a siphon.”

Had a few AEG d’washers with door catch problems, when circulation pump comes on the force of water slightly pushes door open enough to allow leakage. I adjusted tension of spring on lock & it cured problems.

    Hows it going in Longford?

Would be a help if you could know which fault code it was as F06, F07 & F08 will all flash inlet/outlet led. Likely its a dodgy flowmeter, there was a problem with them not seating correctly & sticking.

If water supply has been ajusted its maybe that its not filling to required level in time. Common problems with them are faulty flowmeters or connections from flow meter to board.

Yeah i tested the tacho by turning the drum. Ser’# 67956868. Gave her a quote for replacing board, when she came around after collapsing she got in touch wuth manufacturers. Think shes been talked into taking out an insurance which will cover cost of this repair & subseqent ones.

might be that its not reaching right position on dispenser in time, if you look down on the top of dispenser you will see the positions it should go to, it takes water onto door for a few seconds to assure the customer that water is going in, it then moves to soap drawer, it will time out after a few seconds if it doesnt reach correct position, these times can be extended by the way.

    PNC to know correct machine..
Sounds like you have the one with the 3phase inverter driven motor. Check cable connections are good as i’ve had a few with broken cable at motor plug. Otherwise it can be main board, inverter board or motor. Make sure power is off quite a while before touching inverter board as they can hold charge for a while and give nasty shock.
5pin motor connection, pins 4&5 are tacho, pins 1-2-3 delta connected.
8pin motor connection, pins 7&8 are tacho, pins 4-5-6 delta connected, pin 2 is earth.

After it locks the door drain pump should run which you should hear, then water intake, or you should hear solenoid humming anyhow. If its newly installed i’d be looking at tap for water not turned on or if its connected to drain spiggot on sink its likely the cap is still on spiggot. Kinked hoses would gave same faults.

Possibly water problem, either not filled, water not registered by flowmeter or circulation motor not started or not getting water pressure up enough to make pressure sw’ for heater to come on.

Flow meter is little circuit board located on fill chamber, side of machine.
Blockage inn circulation pump can cause similar problems if it doesn’t achieve or keep pressure up.

E30s are pressure switch related faults, maybe machine is syphoning.

Element earth faults can throw up this also.
