door not sealing right, or cable/pipework entrance to freezer section (at back of appliance) not sealed up properly are the most common problems

Dirty/blocked syphon is likely the cause of conditioner not going through. That is if its fitted & sitting in place correctly in the first place.
If you put conditioner in to below the level, then fill slowly with cold water from jug, as water level goes up above level mark on conditioner dispenser it should continue to syphon all the softener through.
If it works ok like that, then check that water is getting to the section during final rinse, if not, top of water distributer could be blocked if water supply is particularly dirty.

E3 is a voltage imput error, can mean over voltage or under voltage detected. If customer powers up hob for first time you will get E3. If customer shuts off power at cooker control on wall you will get E3 when power is restored. Bad cable connections or links loose in terminal block would give this error if customer finds its coming up in use rather than when turning on hob at wall control.

    Re: Flooding Miele Mystery

I know this was posted ages ago but this may be of help for someone searching through for this problem.
I had a similar leaking Miele machine today & the breather hose from soap drawer to top of tub was blocked.

These new type machines with balls in sump hose seal the tub at base & when water enters through drawer to tub the air displaced from tub has to go somewhere hence the breather tube.

If the breather tube is blocked air is coming up the same hose as the water going from soap drawer to tub causing spurts & gurgles & will cause leakage at front of drawer.

Did you put it on a complete cycle or just a cold rinse?

If you can go into service mode & get it to fill with water, then empty, it should reset. If not its possibly a board faulty.

Lot of these are board faults. Relay pin dry joint. It is recommended to replace board rather than repair.

Perhaps drain hose is pushed too far down & is syphoning when trying to fill on rinse

Have you any clothes in dryer during sensor drying? It will only stay on if it senses damp clothes as its in automatic mode.
