Re: Servis fills up with too much water and leaks from dispe

    hi,
when water goes into the drum air is forced up a tube to the pressure switch, when enough water is in the machine the air pressure operates the pressure switch cutting the water off.
if this tube is blocked it would require more water to send the same air up the tube causing the machine to overfill.
if checking please take the plug out.

    Re: Servis M9813 Washer/Dryer…

    hi,
there is a belt driven circulation fan on the back of the drum there is a good chance that the fan will have seized.
the best way to check is to take the small drive belt off and try to turn the fan pulley by hand.
this may explain why the machine is quieter than usual on dryer.
obviously take the plug out before checking.
if it is seized it is a really difficult part to replace.
it will still be ok to use as a washing machine until you get it fixed.
it would be more a repairs@ job than a diy job.

hi, the pump impellor shouldnt be very loose it should give a little resistance when it is turned and spring back as the field coil is magnetic, it is a common fault on this type of machine,
plug out if you go any further.

hi, i had exactly the same problem and it was the pcb, if you have changed it and it makes no difference tighten all the connections on the pcb or try a slave timer.

is it the thermostat with 4 wires or is it a thermistor, i would check the heater for a short.
those 4 wire stats are a bit dodgy

    Re: hoover

there is no beko washing machine which is comparable to hoover.
the majority of beko machines i see are lucky still to be working after a year. and most of them the motors went on fire (not just burnt out).
hoovers 5 years parts guarantee mean they can still be going after 5 years that wont happen with a beko.
    hoover definately arent upmarket machines.

    Re: hoover

i spoke to hoover finished goods sales today i was ordering a couple of new machines, they have very little stock as all machines are allocated to customers this would imply to me that their finished goods sales are good.
a synical hoover agent might say their engineers are quiet because the machines arent breaking down lol.

thanks for the replys baron and tony i will change the pressure switch and give it a try.
i checked the heater and thermistor and tightened all pcb connections,
i didnt like to mention my reputable repairer is of course emw but i was sure that if emw say the board is ok then it is ok.
i didnt mention this as tony will know know my secret identity.

Re: Hoover Logic 1300E (A3764-301) not spinning

    hi,
you seem to have gone to a lot of trouble i have been a hoover agent for 18 years i have no idea what contacts do what on the pressure switch.
i normally blow into it if it clicks 3 times its working.
as far as i can remember if the p/s was faulty or if the p/s tube was blocked the machine would switch itself off before the end of the program.
its most likely to be the speed control module.
thats the wee pcb in the bottom of the machine.
dont loose that wee spring clip when you take it off and make sure you dont mix up the 2 wires on top.
there is not normally any visible problems with it but sometimes the big resistor at the top can become slack but this gives no drum action.
the oob switch normally is ok but the wires going to it are known to break where they attach to the cabinet or switch housing.
oh and make sure the plugs out first.

Re: Hoover Logic washer dryer creasing clothes

have you checked the hot and cold fill hoses are on the right way round, they go on differently than the logic washing machine.
looking from the front of the machine the hot hose is on the left on the washerdryer but it is on the right on the washing machine.
i also never assume if its a red tap or a red hose its hot water
