    Re: are your ears burning?

We have been over this time and time again but Martins feelings, I would imagine, are felt by a high number of engineers on this site.

Personally I have had one repairs@ job since joining. No work via the Trade Association. ISE is working well for me. The information obtained through this site priceless.

    Tim.

    Me too.

Luckily he’s a long standing customer who is level headed. Probably shouldn’t have said that.

He’s willing to continue using the machine but obviously wants answers.

I kept him happy that if the EXACT problem happened again I would ask ISE to put it to ASKO to see if they have any ideas.
My post was more as a record of events than anything else.

p.s. I haven’t raised a job for either of these visits, just in case people think i’m taking the p***.

    Re: ISE 10 washing machine

Well I’ve been back to this one today.

No burning smell just that its sticking on 14 minutes. It was full of clean water and agitating. The customer left it going for 45 minutes and it still was saying 14 minutes.

I told him to switch it off. When I got there I put it back on and the machine was just agitating and the time wasn’t going down.
I cancelled the programme and put on spin. All ok. I’ve just done a quick wash and thats ok as well.

When the customer had the burning smell he had the same issue with the cycle sticking at 14 minutes as well. Interesting??

I think the nine flashes means the error is 90 something range of codes.

When you say it just gives the basic codes what have you worked the basic code to be?

Re: Beko WM6152W. Was blocked. Now stuck on spin w. prewash

Have you tried holding the start button for 5 seconds, then giving it a couple of minutes to see if the end light will illuminate.

Also there is a beko reset procedure around here somewhere?

I was going to find it for you but my eggs are ready. 🙂

    Thanks Martin.

No need for me to get involved once he told me that.

Why pay me £45 when the electrician can do it, I know electricians can
be expensive but I’m sure he wouldn’t charge £27 labour per socket he changed.

Thank you for your words of wisdom.

Call to a customer to find the dead dryer is due to the socket on the wall
    playing up.

Luckily for him he had an electrician coming out that afternoon.

I give him my bill for £18 plus MPs expenses. (My minimum charge)

He says ‘ Whats your best price for cash? ‘

    😯

    Its been a long week….

I noticed the same on the one I changed the motor and invertor.

I hadn’t looked closely at drum rotation on one before so I feel you pain Jim, the inner panic subsided as the days went by. 🙂

Jim look on the bright side, you didn’t have to change the motor. 😉

My wife was at her new school today, to get to meet her new pupils.

Upon arrival she was handed the anti-bac lotion.

The Head and two pupils are off with suspected Swine flu. 😯

Now with the amount of people I meet and now this I’m becoming quite concerned. For the first time in 15 years I’m taking two weeks off abroad next week. Fingers crossed we make it there!

So you put the WMA tub and WMA motor in. And everything else is WF?

Load it up with some towels and give it a whirl.

The topic was briefly discussed here:
