Charge your normal fee for both, they will of course be expecting a warranty on all your work after all.

    Re: MFI

AIG been a problem since day 1 we had to direct invoice them. Rejected claims that they didnt bother to tell us about, ignored statements etc and adjusted invoices by 1p to account for their lack of being able to round up vat. 1 outstanding invoice form April as yet unpaid, been on stop since June but must admit no AIG calls have even been passed to us since then which leads me to believe they have fallen out with MFI and there will be no further business with them.

Did a BT 82Gi the other day, there were screws either side of the switch box that could not be seen, a longish phillips driver reached them and then the whole swtich pulled inside and out.

classic dispenser symptoms, slave on any old solonoid valve to prove it. Could have done the boards as well.

should show a fault code, but the clunking noise could either be a blocked drain pump (as that is powered up straight away) or the alternating valve maybe (usually gives a fault code though).

I have had a report that a recent delivery appeared to be dropped of by what looked like a couple of gypsies in an old transit van.

Yes, changed the main board and interlock (as a precaution) but on doing so the display board failed to light up so it needed on of those as well, we think its caused by customers leaving the machine turned on 24/7.

Sure nobody’s had a go already and got a wire wrong? Pretty basic oven, guess it can only be the comm switch. Have you checked for a burnt out terminal block or door switch?

This end the work volume has got higher, payments are coming faster (with the exception, needless to say of AIG) and the product has got better (mainly see Beko dishwashers in new instalations rather than the Hairer stuff) and not had a rejection in a year or so. Not much to complain about here….for now.

    Re: ASKO bearing change W6461

Find it hard to believe they would have gone on a 6461….. Its a methodical strip down from the front. Nothing tricky but not like any other machine you would have worked on. IMO the centralising tool is not vital, the bearing insertion tool is though.

Sorry, have had a look at my technical stuff here but can see nothing on error codes for that model.
