Participantwhy should there be, theyre self diagnostic!
and it tells you every known fault via display, so why use a pc, when the machine will tell you itself?

Participantunplug it
defrost it fully, for 48hrs, with both doors open
plug it back in
thats it!!!
its clogged up with ice and the fan no longer runs, thats all
you could fit a pcb if you like, but youll find the defrost will cure it
hope this helps

Participanttest the heater with a meter
if thats ok, its the control pcb
if your confident at board level, you may well find a bad solder joint on the heater relay on the board

Participantdo you mean the felt seal?
i just scrape it all off, and clean it with white spirit!
theres a full kit for that, part number 1703080
inexpensive… includes front and back seal, bearing supports, shaft, rear bearing and drive pin

I wonder if just switching it off and on at the mains would have done the same trick.Anyway, going to treat it to a new set of brushes before I put it back to work.
Thanks!
like i said, and theres your answer, the connections on the pcb on that model sometimes arc and break connection, an easy repair if you know what your doing
its not the motor plug, its the copper track where it fits on the board where the problem lies!! look again and youll see what i meanhelo_75
Participantare you sure the connection for the motor plug on the control board isnt damaged?
id be checkin that in the first instance!!

Participantbest of luck
problem with the plastic, and you not unique, they press the cabinet together with the plastic on, so the plastic sricks between the joints!!
if your very carefull, and heat it up, using a very blunt knife or similar, and score down the line, gently, and it will come out
be careful not to scratch it, thats all
like i said, ur not unique, most people leave it on, but it does look a hell of a lot better without

What was your date of purchase as this will have a 2 years manufacturers warranty ?
It may well be that the defrost sensor has failed which will cause insufficient freezing thus lack of cooling in the fridge.
Bryan
and at what point was the fridge mentioned?
