It’s a very tired looking AWP011/1. Judging by its state it could be anything TBH. Door lock problems? Main On/off switch? Circuit board?

ParticipantRe: Hoover w/machine Door Interlock fault
Yes PCB likely blown track usually caused by the motor.

Is the pump free to turn now? I’m guessing it is still too tight.

My vented takes 60 mins for a full load of towels. I figure the leccy a lot cheaper for the shorter period and wear and tear far far less. Heat pump dryers are a nonsense, a con, technological, illogical c r a p.

Burnt/arcing contacts on float microswitch is one possibility.

It should be clear so release the clamp ring from the door seal at the front panel and inspect it from there.

They are Torx head screws so off to the DIY shop you need to go. T20 the most common size driver.

This is a UK based website. We don’t give good exchange rates on US dollars so 100 dollars this side of the pond won’t buy you much. A dustpan and broom maybe. 😉

Did the dispenser hose come off the tub? Water leaked into motor?

I saw several with full metal backs on a recent visit to Currys. The problem is that in their showrooms most are displayed with their backs to the wall so you will have to ask their staff if they have an metal back or not. The Currys ‘superstores’ stock so many you can easily spot those with metal backs, as I did in their Reading store.

Samsung are junk. Bosch better. Siemens for 5 trouble free years.
