Just make sure they’re not selecting circo-therm grilling as on this setting, the grill element and fan alternate every few minutes.

As an addendum to aqualectrics post , if the door had fallen doyen with a thump , it can also damage the inner door adjacent to the hinge fixings. If the bottom side edges are bent , the door will not close properly under pressure so will keep popping open. One way to check is if when you close the door to almost shut it should have enough pressure for the door to close itself. If the door sits slightly open and only closes fully when you physically push it home then there’s definitely something bent out of position.

Is this still under warranty? The 3D sensor is used for the out of balance system and there has been a problem with them causing the symptons you’ve described. Basically the appliance won’t spin as it thinks it’s always out of balance.

Have you checked for blockages in the fill hose ? I’ve also had problems where customers were putting tablets in the drawer designed to go in the drum and where they were a water softener block in with the detergent which was causing an overflow. .

Re: Siemens dryer wt46e385gb/30 beeping when pressing start

The chances are its the door lock . Try starting it with the door open and you’ll probably get the same beeps. Normally to access the test program on these dryers is selector dial round to 6 o’clock position , hold low heat button and turn dial one click clockwise.

Have you checked the heater? It’s probably not starting again but just not progressing on from the wash cycle. My guess is that you’ll find the heating element o/c .

    Re: Bosch D/W drain/noise problem

When you reset these to drain , the drain pump will come on/go off 3 times before going into constant drain. These ‘pulses’ last a couple of seconds each. If you are getting very brief pulses i.e led than a second – then that norally indicates a jammed/failing drain pump.

Something to watch out for on these ovens if it is the model with the square oven lamp set in the roof of the main compartment. The lamp blowing can take out its relay that then takes out track near to it.
Is the relay on the back left as you look at the board from the front? It might be worth checking the bulb/lamp assembly just in case this is the cause of the ‘bang’ and following relay damage.

Is this at start up ? The start up procedure for these machines is as follows.
    After start button operated:
Drain pump runs for approx 1 min.
    Pause
Heat pump runs for approx 10secs.
    Pause.
    1 sec burst of water.
    Pause
    Then it starts filling.
You can get a fail to start with something as simple as the drain pump access lid being loose or out of position.
    Hope this helps.

Most Bosch/Neff/Siemens microwave/combi ovens have these 2 fault symptons.
Reset after 3 seconds – inverter
Reset after 23 seconds – magnetron
    Hope this helps.

We don’t replace bearing sets in plastic tubs. We replace the rear tub assembly . Depending on the severity of the failed bearing , we may also advise on a drum too.

    Re: siemans washer

The floppy handle is the problem , not the door lock. Make sure the machine is switched onto a program , start it so you hear the door lock. Once it starts , wait a few seconds then press the start button again to pause it. You should hear the lock click unlocked. Turn off the dial. Now , if you pull the handle back as much as it goes , shine a torch into where the lock/handle meet and you should see the metal door hook. You can slip a small long flat bladed screwdriver down the side of the hook and twist it to prise open the hook. The door should just pop open

    Re: Bosch heat pumps pno.755078 / 651956

They’re different sized bodies and the 755078 is a multi speed heat pump so as far as I am aware , they’re not interchangeable.
