ParticipantRe: Beko WMA765s stuck at certain time readouts
Hi, Had one like this 18 months ago and it was the element but worn brushes can give spurious faults also.

Don’t ya just love the technical solutions forthcoming on these pages? 😆
but they normally work better than the official cures :rolls:

ParticipantRe: First hand experience of exploding oven door !!!
I bought a New World oven 2 years ago and first use the chicken is in, I’m on the phone and a loud pop. The outer door had shattered before the chicken was cooked but the microwave came to the rescue. New World sent a new door next day and I was impressed by their quick response.Got a spare too 😆 Love the oven, simple without digital timers.
Had a couple on Kuppersbusch recently and over £150 for just the outer glass, no handles just glass and a bit of trim 😯 .

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS5318GB/12 Dishwasher
Sorry Martin,
it was hit and miss. sometimes it would reset to 0 or start to fill or drain for ever.

Thanks Steve,
I cleaned the whole lot. Right from the off the red float never lifted, the m/c just started draining either immediately or after some filling.
I think it must be the pcb.

Yes motor checks out fine. If the door is opened after filling and shut then it goes into drain mode. It seems all over the place, sometimes fill/empty at same time, sometimes fill and sit doing nothing , other times straight to drain just by switching it on.
They were discussing a Miele when I was there so may not need a cure after all.

Aqualectric Martin,
Had red float chamber apart and cleaned it thoroughly. Would I be looking for anything specific on the board?robbra
ParticipantRe: servis m6500w-1. pump req
Cheers Mike,
Been up to my supplier and we both agree its better than the orig PMP pump from SUK and a lot lot cheaper. I will try the Plaset but it should also work with the Askol.

Hi megawatt,
What do you screw it into? The bayonet flanges seem too small but will give it a try one day soon. Is that how you do it?

ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS5302GB/07
Hi,
went back today and it was the board with a dry joint so thanks Steve. Never knew about the pressure on the m/switch so I’ve learnt two things on this job. One day I’ll pluck up courage to get right inside.
Thanks for everyone help.
