Machine was tried to be started without door closed, or door interlock faulty. E41 is door lock, wiring or p.c.b faulty.
By the way start l.e.d should flash 4 times red & 1 green when showing fault codes, you sure you were reading it correctly ?

Not always, sometimes they are not seated correctly & the wheel/counter does’nt turn & hence the magnet doesn’t operate reed switch. Careful, they’re quite delicate !

Was there a flow meter ( little p.c.b ) mounted on the matrix? They are prone to sticking. If it’s counting pulse/litres of water via a flowmeter filling with a bowl would not activate it & you’d still have problem. Other problem to look for is circulation pump stuck & not running, which should activate pressure switch after water has filled to correct level.

Sounds like tacho problem, the crash she heard may have been it going direct into full spin directly instead of ramping up slowly. Check for crack in magnet.

    Is this a top-loader?
I’ve gotten “incongruance” fault on front loaders being caused by the heater being down to earth.
But it can be caused by blowing into the analogic pressure switch. I’d be going for changing the electronic p’switch, thats after checking the cabling & tightening the connections.

NTC is part of heater assembly as is the cut-out, they are rivetted on & should’nt be replaced on their own.
Beko parts are dirt cheap anyway, heater is less than £30.

Does it have a flowmeter? If so its likely its not counting properly.

Beware not disconnect any Gas pipework if you’re not registered to do so.
If its Electrical the fascia panel comes off, 2 side screws on each side, some screws underneath fascia & sometimes 4 or 6 screws on top hob are screwed back into fascia, knobs off fascia panel should drop off, if not sometimes theres a single centre screw in middle behind clock which can catch you, think Dimpco would have any info you need for it.

If sensor brushes are done then that’s the problem, does it work on timed drying?

Re: AEG module’s – can they be re-programmed to a different

Most new ones are programmeable via SideKick diagnostic software that Service Force engineers use, it requires connection to a laptop however. Older ones you have to enter a numerical code.

As for the 3 hour programme, apart from the worn brushes you mentioned i’d be looking at it having a blocked sump hose or filter, heater also or inlet valve filters gunged up, common one is that it was syphoning on the second fill. Did you check if theres any fault code registered by going into diagnostics?

Blockage in condenser tank, possibly the pump impellor is gunged up with fluff.
