    Re: Zanussi FLE1416W Leak

I have known the inlet valve dribble on Zanussi m/c on spin in the past, especially if its the type where the inlet hose is not directly coupled to the valve and the water is drawn through – Not sure on that model.
    Just a thought!

    Re: whirlpool adg 7540/1

If not the thermister check the switch diaphragm in the sump, this often gets clogged-up. Often just removing rinsing out & refitting does the trick. I find these the two most common faults on Whirlpool dishwashers, with the latter being the most common.

    Re: whirlpool adg 7540/1

In my experience with whirlpool d/w’s if the fault shows up quickly it is usually the NTC feeler – especially when it flashes continously.

    Hope this helps.

Could really do with some of that wisdom regarding the “Smeg build in dishwasher” passing on to my problem as I think it is the same PCB.

If it is a pcb problem, can it be cured? if so how?

Would really like some constructive help please lads!

No most calls in and around Guiseley and Bradford today. Thank heavens for Yorkshires high grounds.

More than likely pcb. Sometimes on those boards its just a dry joint at the heater connection – should check this first before ordering a new one.

    Hope this helps.

Very wary of the yp when they started asking questions like ” how many people work at the firm” What’s that got to do with placing an advert?

i would say timer/module fault on that machine. 😥
Good way to find out though! ring EMW they will send you a recon’d replacement unit, if wrong it will only cost you £5.00 or so as this is the cost of returning it to them, even with dirty finger marks on it! 😆

I tend to use EMW for recon’d modules they will send you a replacement module, as opposed to QER who tend to repair the original (not always successfully).

Often on hotpoint d/w pcb’s there is a dry joint at the heater connection.
Just resolder and this cures the problem. hope this helps.
