another similar thread running :
trade-technical/whirlpool-adg7470-flashes-t84928.htmlHas been suggested it could be the wash pump as the current drawn my this is monitored and apparently informs the pcb that the machine has emptied or not… we will see.

ModeratorRe: Bosch/Siemans maglock style Dishwasher Door Locks
look at the hinges, chances are the “U” shape plastic inserts have broke or missing. I struggled on these, changing locks etc with no luck but then just stumbled upon the problem. The door sits a tiny bit too low for the latch to click in correctly and there is very little mechanical locking action going on with these.

even better, you can access the pump impellor from inside the sump, pull the filter out and un clip the pump cover-its in the users instruction book.

if you are changing it because the rubber on the end has rotted, would suggest you take a good look at the thicker one next to it too, usually if one has gone the other is in a similar state. and, as warned, that part is not cheap! part number for the thinner one (140) is 6001202

if its the smaller of the 2 you need, be prepared for a £100 odd cost! the rubber mouldings on the pump end of these going rotten is a common Miele problem and often only show up after you have disturbed them by removing the circ pump so I always warn customers of the consequences before starting work as I sure would not want to foot the bill for those.

Ian, can you explain the significance of the waterline group and the connection with Liebherr? Must admit its a new one on me.

would suggest cleaning out all the breather hoses in the left hand side from the filter up to the y piece in the dispenser hose. top, front and side off I am afraid though.

rather do a SMeg one than the heap of crap in the thread title….
as for that hose, even the dispenser hose has the retainer in the tub. I tried to do one once with just the front plate off but no luck, had to bite the bullet and pull the inner drum out as there was just not enough room. Have to admit though, once you do a condenser once on these its actually quite an easy job.eastlmark
ModeratorRe: Bosch T/D making scraping noise?
usually a coin or stone trapped between drum and front plate. small screwdriver run around the gap from inside the drum normally prizes it free.

ModeratorRe: 680uf 10v capacitors
have some spare here if you want them Jim, also worth noting I had one the other day with the adjacent 470uf cap also domed so carry then as well now.

Why scrap? have you seen how cheap the pump is for those? (£62 from qualtex) and it includes the heater, formerly £90 odd in itself on previous Bosch dishwashers. Easy change too once you get the hang of it.easy to change! how long does it take then- total strip down job innit’, 2-2 1/2 hours ?
if there’s an easy way I wish I knew!
Clive.nomadPaul wrote:If its the heat pump you’re talking about you’re going about it the wrong way. No need to drop the base at all as it can be done from the side. Side panel off , module popped out the way. Disconnect 3 plugs from heat pump. Carefully cut away securing circlip on right hand side , take of bungee clip then twist pump clockwise before pulling towards you. Then fit in reverse remembering to fit the new jubilee clip in the right position and orientation.
what he said, done a few now 20 minutes tops for a freestanding.
