    Re: Smeg DF614SF dishwasher

first thing I would check is the button operation

ie has the board moved or a plastic part snapped that stops the switch being depressed

Re: Leisure Roma Second Oven not working

its one of those question “how long is a piece of string but it prob boils down to thermostats or switches as if the elements had failed the light would still light
also if this unit has a clock then it might be that

post the full model to enable someone to look up the info on it

Re: Whirpool 6Th Sense – Short Program Takes Hours To Comple

various things can extend a programme but on most modern machines they come up with a fault code

no sure with the whirlpool off hand but I would check

1 time to fill since the machine fills about 4 times if it takes too long it adds time times 4
    2 drain same reason
3 heater some machine like bosch and zanussi don’t give a fault code for failed heater just makes the programme longer while it waits for heat and then give up and finishes programme

check the programme you are using against the handbook time to see how far out it is

    Re: Bosch WAA28161GB/09 surging motor

if you spin the motor and set your meter on low ac volts you should see an output. if no output check for broken magnet

is it a controlled surge ie does it speed you quickly or instantly

if instantly suspect also the motor triac

measure motor from board to rule out broken wires duff connectors etc

Re: Bosch Exxcel SGS45E02GB – Water overflowing base on star

you fault sounds like a timer fault ie the component that controls the valve is faulty
the fault with the timer was a bad joint on the heater circuit that goes pop and can blow other components when it fails

they cant repair the timer so you will get a new one

get them out to it and see how you go from there

if the element went with a bang it may have damaged the control boards
