    be careful your model is

    N0(zero)GB not NO(oh) GB

and you have to select the irish spare parts

if the main pcb detects that the magnetron has not started it aborts the programme

Re: Rangemaster All Electric Classic110 Cooling Fan On All T

dont know this cooker but picking up on your description of the fault

since the fan would have to be triggered somehow it may not be the board

the fan will have to be switched on by the board with either a relay or a triac look for short circuits

had a problem finding you model no. there are lots of classic110 cookers but there seems to be a 4 digit number in front
ie 5818 classic 110 DF NG claret

from the website i looked at the only thing available is the anticalc filter

as far as the steam is concerned could be pump, element , thermostats, pcb or switches but since it does not look as though they are available its scrap

find kenwood and ring them to check

trace the heater wire back to the board and there is probably a relay that controls it.

    check for close circuit (short)

i assume you have checked for earth faults ( most houses have rcd these days but some older ones do not so its worth checking )

replacing the fuse with a higher one is never a good idea and something i would not entertain.

i am assuming that when you remove the wires from the invertor part number 482202 that it no longer blows fuses but when you set it, it runs for a short time then stops.

you also say it runs with mag disconnected do you mean mag or mag and invertor? do a megger test on the mag. any reading to earth and it dead

if so you need to replace invertor and mag to be sure. and hope you have not damaged anything else by putting a bigger fuse in

    gen part look up here

    http://shop.bshappliancecare.com/

best place to get invertor is ebay in my experience

Re: oven diplomat electrical prob g720 cooling fan prob

not as crazy as it sounds. most electronic board switch neutral. so when the board is off both wires have 240v to them. when fan is on one of them connects to neutral probably the blue but you can never be certain with internal wiring.

i think the board has not blown but the power supply on the board has gone so it cant operate. its a time thing like a battery goes dead over a long time till you cant turn over the tele without standing next to it

you have a fan with 220v going to it. i assume you are measuring the voltage with the fan connected. so it must be running at its design speed. blowing in it will produce a faster speed but is not designed to do that

fit the correct fan first if you have problems after that then sort them. you dont need a gale blowing through the cooker to keep it cool

most of these fan are desined to be quiet in operation. so if they went faster they would make more noise. the smaller fan will be a lower power so it will have a higher resistance

my advise get the right fan for the job, the right size, then you cant go wrong

the seletor switch is the most likely problem

    see

    http://www.servevastdirect.co.uk/index. … ct_id=1324

remove switch and look for burnt or broken switch contacts
