Re: Indesit WIXE127 with failed bearings

as far as i can see the answer is yes sealed tubs

retail cost on the part shows at around £150 as a repair its a no go

as for the panel prices since the tubs go a lot i would think refurbishers would have plenty of panels but i may be wrong.
The only people who may buy the is QER as they refurbish panels

without meters the fastest way of finding out is disconnection

disconnect each element in turn and see if tripping stops

had a look on the beko site for clues mods etc but no joy

have you had a good look at the hinges if the right one has been bent slightly it may be putting pressure on the door and not allowing it to seal

this seems to be a white knight dryer in disguise

have you looked at the door
there is a probe that goes into a hole to start the dryer. these get snapped of if you catch them
also try the socket to make sure it works

if the element stays on then my next step would be to check the relay on the pcb for short circuit
cheap easy repair if it is

Re: Bosch WFF2000 – motor problem

a lot of motors including bosch have a thermal cutout inside the motor which could have gone either way internal motor parts are not available

my next step would be strip the motor you may be lucky and find a broken wire that can be fixed it will also allow you to check each coil seperatly

bit of a long shot but if it fails new motor

from what you are saying i will make one assumption. when it goes dead if you turn off and on again you can reset the prog and start again

poss answer chack for capacitor power supply on pcb

if power supply is low fault will proceed as follows

machine starts pumps and fill ok. main motor starts and 2 mins in heater relay cuts in. at this point there is not enough power to keep going and pcb crashes

    worth a look

check the manual on some delicate cycles it stop full of water before spin to prevent creasing ( rinse hold )

Re: Bosch WFF2000 – motor problem

the six contact on a motor are as follows

    2 contacts armature
    2 contacts field coil
    2 contact tacho

you will get a low reading on the armaure and fiel but the tacho will give a higher reading. put meter on tacho contacts and spin motor by hand if reading changes its prob ok

if all ok check pcb for signs of blown tracks

    make sure its unplugged
