Looks like it’s just basically an aquastop. Could probably make a Bosch one fit?

    Re: Hotpoint Sealed Drum Replacement

I got a complete sealed tub straight from Hotpoint 08448 116 999 with a good trade discount without having to prove I was trade. (Cheaper than the wholesaler IIRC.) Courier delivered direct to my customer next day.

Re: A Service Engineers Business Dashboard

Back orders take so long or never come at all that I’ve given up with ever ordering anything that’s out of stock.
If one of my three wholesalers don’t have it, I look at the manufacturer’s own supply line, e-bay, Google the part number, whatever it takes. Sometimes ends up cheaper from a retail site anyway.

Dashboard idea sounds OK (in a sailor’s song…) I reckon if you’re organised enough to sort that out then you’re probably organised enough anyway.

It’s nearly always F8 😈 and EMW is the only (95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure) cure if the customer is too poor to afford skip hire.

Low insulation & / or damp brush holders. Try unplugging mtr, htr, as quick tests.

Thanks bzz. That was spot on. Just done one this morning.
Looked as though the weight on top of the drum had rubbed on the hose; there was some of the rubbed away rubber lying on top of the weight. It must have jumped a lot to do that. Surprised there was no other damage.
The error codes in the sticky (and possibly in book, didn’t look) don’t correlate to this model. Or are they inaccurate?
    Customer book states:

    Error displayed Solution
    dE • Close the door.
4E • Make sure the source water faucet is turned on.
    • Check the water pressure.
5E • Clean the debris filter.
    • Make sure the drainage hose is installed correctly.
UE • Laundry load is unbalanced; loosen any tangled laundry.
    • If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, thefinal spin result might be unsatisfactory and an “UE” error message will be
    shown in the display window.
LE • Check the end of the drain hose is (not) too low. (Make sure the holder of drain hose in the back is intact)
    • Check the end of the drain hose is (not) submerged in water
Have added above to codes thread.

Anything under 40 Megohms, and the programme will be interrupted.
