    Re: Bosch WFL2063GB/01

i havn’t got the codes for the /01 model but the /12 model with all 3 lights (ready active and finish) lit is an NTC short or open circuit witha lack of heating in the cycle.

You should also check that the door hinges are not worn causing poor closing of the door. The door should close with a satisfying ‘donk’. The door should be held fairy tight when in then closed position with no gap or looseness of the door.

ok mate. Only had one similar to that and it was a drill bit that got trapped between the tubs and bent the hole out as you’ve described. I was lucky and managed to ‘tap’ it flat with a hammer 🙂

Hi Ollie , its not too bad a job….time consuming more than anything.
Can i ask why you’ve got to change the inner drum ? I can’t remember ever having to change one on its own so would be interested in your fault .

It could possibly be the cooling fan seized or gunged up . These appliances have 2 cooling fans situated at the back . You will need to remove the rear panel to get access. The fans are barrel shaped and you’ll probably find the top one stuck.

POWER OFF BEFORE REMOVING OVEN FROM HOUSING AND TAKING OFF BACK PANEL

Re: Tecnik TKD795/2 -drain pump running non-stop -base flood

Pete1610 wrote:I have the identical problem; pump running continiously. Having pulled it out, I also experienced the same problem of getting access to the pump. I suspect it is clogged with debris. Non of the repondents actually answered the question of how to access the pump. Any advice? ❓

Its because if the pump was blocked it wouldn’t run. If the machine drain pump is running all the time , even with the door open , then the base will almost certainly be flooded……probably from the pressure chamber on the left hand side.

Unplug the machien and as Penguin says . tip it backwards…with plenty of towels around it. If it clears and runs , jobs a good ‘un….if it re-occurs , you need to find where the water is getting into the base.

You might find the number ‘etched’ into the top edge of the door – Soemtimes you have to look at it from different angles to actually see it. The ENR number would definitely help us.

I don’t know Mike. i have access to them because i’m a BSH man.

TBH , F21 can also be caused by electrical spikes from the supply and a lot of the time the F21 fault is in the board rather than the motor 🙁

You have to enter the test programme – Set selector switch to the 6 o’clock position , hold the spin speed button , turn the selector switch one click clockwise and after a couple of seconds release the spin speed button. It may still show F21 but then switch off and switch back on and it should clear.

You can check the motor by taking off the RHS panel and checking to see if you can turn the motor ‘fins’ by hand . They should turn , albeit with a little tension. If they do turn easily enough and are not seized , then it could be the start capacitor which is a semi easy repair. On checking , i see this machine has a starting relay too that fits to the top of the motor. Have a good look at this – it’ll be a small dark red box on the motor contacts – as these can sometimes fail. It may look black and charred and you’ll smell the burnt plastic.

If the motor won’t turn , then it could be either the motor itself or the sealing kit/impellor blade fitted in the motor…….not the easiest of jobs to replace tbh. In both cases the motor has to come out and the motors aren’t cheap.

Hopefully it’ll be the starting cap and/or relay ( worth ordering both if the motor appears ok )

If it gets stuck in a fill/drain continuous cycle with the check water light on then this will def be the case . Its fitted between the end of the inlet hose and matrix . Small white ‘wheel’ part

I am still interested to hear how users find living with the noise of a frost free (if there is much more than a non frost freel fridge).
As mentioned our Bosch was far too noisy, even when sat the otherside of the kitchen door and would not want to make the same mistake.

The very early KGN’s did suffer from a noisy fan due to lack of padding n the rear of the fan itself causing it to vibrate too much. A new modified fan was fitted to all subsequent models – and loud original ones – which means the noise levels on them are barely discernible .
