Does it also say “Check Inlet”?

Sounds like it could be a water inlet problem! 😉
I’d check water inlet hose, valves, filter in inlet.
Also look if theres been a leak & activated float switch if one is fitted in machine base.

    Likely motor brushes worn away?
Did you take end off motor & check them?
This can be done without removing the motor.
I’ve come across faulty boards but i’d check brushes & cable loom motor plug first

F.A Normally means a drain probem on Miele Commercial machines i’ve seen. Look for kinked or blocked drain hose or pump problem (blockage in non return valve) 💡 .

Roly he shouldn’t have to open it up!
Most Miele engineers should be competant enough to enter service mode & see fault codes which should help in pinpointing cause of failure.
One of these would say “float switch activated” if theres water in base, if you get my jist.

Could be as simple as inlet filter on water pipe blocked, or flow meter problem.
Most likely the level switch not getting enough pressure of water, this can because machine did not fill with enough water to bring on pressure switch or that there is an obstruction in the circulation pump.

    Re: Glasswasher

Could be a thermal overload somewhere on bottom of tank, this goes out sometimes if machine is drained of water & boils dry.

    Normally has red reset button.

Also check if theres a relay suplying the heater, could be a bad connection there.

Well its not a water fill problem. Do you know how to get into service mode?

Have you fitted a new Reed Switch or just taken old one out & put it back?
I’ve found its sometimes difficult to get then seated correctly for the magnet to move the switch.
Also check you haven’t pulled the cable off the Electronic board.
If Electronic doesn’t receive any pulse from reed sw’ it usually gives an Inlet Fault.
    Is this what you get?

Teresa, the hook end clips off the outlet hose-pipe, have you noticed this?
It can be joined directly to another pipe without the hook piece.

Tap relays on board, they are prone to sticking. Also check for the normal things like bad connnections at edge connections to PCB.
