I kicked up a major fuss and got it swapped for a Bosch. (had to pay £100 more – but the Bosch is fantastic!!) I have learnt my lesson and will never compromise quality for cost.
The Bosch is the SGS45E68GB – ultra quiet (you can have it on while eating), ultra clean (not one dirty glass when the Kenwood just used to move the dirt around a bit rather than clean), and ultra fast – the quick 29 min cycle cleans the plates, cutlery & glasses spotless.
Thankyou for making me go through the hassle of upgrading. Good luck to all others – just do it!
I was repairing a microwave in a customer’s house recently and in the kitchen a cheap (but very new) Italian dishwasher was running .
I was shocked at the amount of noise being produced! 😯
I refrained from mentioning the racket to the customer for fear of being accused of “slagging off” other brands of appliance.
Customers should look beyond the price ticket.Buy in haste – repent at leisure! :lesson:

These are the very latest dryers and these are built in the fatherland 😉

In such a situation we would do an about face in the kitchen and ask her to phone us when the fitter had made the appliance accessible.
Kudos to you for being brave enough to risk a drill!

Yep, simple loom with the same connector at both ends.
Never seen this problem on a MAX type before.

Unplug then remove oven from housing, remove back panel to access the sharp end of the screws, add a little WD40 and the use mole grips on screw threads.
Don’t leave cooked food in the oven, as this contains moisture

Hi Martin, I went to a very similar dishwasher (maybe the same type) a couple of weeks ago. It had two modules fitted in a six weak period by the same guy.
I found a blown triac on the module and dug a little deeper.
That dishwasher has a little motor and gearbox attached to the underside of the instantaneous water heater, for switching water between the spray arms. I found water had leaked through the gearbox seal and onto the little motor terminals.(after a while)

Grease attracts microwaves and causes hot spot. Only other thing would be enamel chipped on door frame.
