Tilt appliance back insert a pair of pliers inbetween the grey “clips” on the underside then place a flat screwdriver under the pump and flick it to the left if you lie it right back be sure to protect the motor as some water will come out. The E90 error is a communication error between the two pcb’s and normally its the connection to the display pcb on the control panel that needs to be cleaned up

    Re: Liebherr Fridge keeps freezing

The freezer fan on a liebherr wont operate unless the freezer is below -10c and as the previous post say’s their NTC’s really are a weak point and could be giving the board duff info. And in responce to whitechurches post an NTC take the place of a thermostat and sends the info to the circuit board but depending on the model there can be upto 3 fitted on a liebherr.

Re: Induction hob and built-under double oven installation

Yes 50mm with a zanussi is ok but there must also be a gap above the cooker of at least 10mm to allow the cooling fans within the hob to draw air into the base of the hob to cool the circuit boards. Are you aware you need pans with a magnetic “biscuit base” else the hob wont work ensure your pans say suitable for induction .Also if it goes out the warrenty it will be very exspensive to repair

It may just in defrost mode try leaving it switched on at least 20 mins failing that it may be the defrost timer is sticking in defrost you could try to manually turn it before considering anything else

Re: Zanussi Electrolux ZSF 6152 not heating/drying

If its heating sometimes then it wont be the element firstly check the wiring connections to both the element and the circuit board for signs of burning if ok check the wiring flexes at the base of the door ther may be an intermitant break if thats ok it could be a dry solder joint under the heater relay on the circuit board. There is no thermostats only an ntc which rarely gives any trouble

Not uncommon for the upper spray arm feed tube to split by the element and spray water on the motor or steam vent at the top of the tub has become loose

yes it will be the fan element . Elements dont always show any obvious signs that they have failed.

did it drain at first then just make a low hum but never filled at all then it has to be the aqualock which is what you decribe as the grey filter box thats activated . you would need a new inlet hose

Re: White Knight (Crosslee) 77AW condenser dryer bearing hel

no the entire back panel including the rear banjo and heater have to come off then you have to remove the air guide bottom left to access the motor so you remove the belt. As for the bearing assy im afraid its rivoted to the drum itself which means drilling out the rivots buts its not recomended as the metals very thin and trying to fit a bearing is rarely successful i always replace the drum assy complete

Re: Zanussi FJDR 1466 W – E52 code – how to remove the motor

You need to split the cabinet itself (not a big job) The cabinet has a centre split down each side at the bottom of the split is a round plastic cover flick this off and remove the exposed screw with an 8mm socket then at the back of the cabinet at the bottom are 2 or 3 other screws then remove lid and at the top by the suspension springs are two other screws either side . remove inlet hose and the plastic piece the valve goes through you can flick up then pull the cabinet halves apart (dont worry it wont all collapse !!!) the motor is the held with four 8mm bolts

Re: AEG LAVAMAT 14850 NOT DRYING

You have to remove fan assy completly undo the heater box and push it away toward the soap draw undo the bottom hose the drain hose and where it connects onto the pump manifold and with a struggle it is just possible to remove it from the top but the syptoms you have can also be due to the coil on the inlet valve being open circuit

    Re: AEG FAV35080VI not drying

Most AEG models have a dryer fan which sits on the top rear left of the tub itself check that if ones fitted. Another thing is are you need to ensure you use tablets which contain rinse aid as rinse aid dosent aid the rinse as the name suggests its a chemical which is released on the final rinse which makes the water slide of the dishes more easily.
