Well for a single multi-function oven this baby is a doozie. So, firstly you MUST Megger it (yes I know, granny sucking eggs and all that) but it must show pretty near on infinity otherwise with sensitive MCB’s you’ll get this. Also there is a sink resistor on the cooling circuit that could be your problem (fitted on the top adjacent the fan). What else?…..dunno….have you done a loop test?

It appears fixed somewhere as it won’t moveYes it is some fancy ball valve arrangement that (looking at the schematic drawing) appears part of the sealed drum assy?

Check that the control board has not broken from its fascia panel fixings? Sounds like heavy fisted operators have broken the fascia panel.

Cheers indeed Deltra or maybe tears? You’ve got to understand commercial stuff is a different ball game. Tech info lacking, 3 phase power to many, parts at mega prices.
You mention Miele, wow! Good luck with that one buddy.

ParticipantRe: Siemens fridge – door very hard to open after closing
You failed to provide us with the model number (ENR number) which would be a great help.
However in these circumstances it is best to leave at least 10 seconds to elapse before attempting to reopen the door, especially if it’s a freezer!

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint CTD00 motor not working
It might be a good idea to replace the motor’s capacitor. Cheap as chips so well worth doing otherwise if the motor burns out it is a scrap heap job!

Richardhayes55 wrote:Less of your arrogance Martin its insulting!! it was only when i went out to the machine that i noticed that it was only a 1yr and a half old! And if it was a PCB problem i was advicing her to get bosch engineer out to fix it.
Sorry you feel that way Richard. Dragging machine into the workshop is hardly an effective way of dealing with a 18mth old machine that beeps every time you try to set a programme. Having advised your customer it was under warranty and the responsibility of BSH to sort it. Far better to walk away, seek advice (you did that) then phone your customer to advise what should be done next, either to get BSH in or (in this case) press the on/off button!

What is the make and model of this f/freezer? Normally the installation instructions provided will explain the sizes required.
